Finally my laces stay tied
The round laces I have on boots and tennis shoes constantly become untied. Thes Southwestern Rockware laces have been staying tied for several weeks now. I will buy more of these laces when I need them.

Shopping tip - these laces stretch 15% beyond stated length in normal use
SW Rockwear laces are unlike any other I've tried. I bought these to replace original laces on Merrill Moab hi-top "boots", which had begun to develop knot-like expansions in cord diameter, making it very difficult to pass laces through what passes for eyelets these days. I chose 63" light brown/black SW Rockwear laces for my walnut-colored Moab shoes, which is a good match color wise but bad match length-wise (way too long even with my double knots I use to prevent normal tied loops from coming undone). The length problem lies in the inherent stretch of SW Pockwear laces. With little effort I found the 63" laces to stretch to 76". I reordered theses laces in 54", which consequently fit my Merrill Moab high-tops perfectly in color and length when lacing in usual fashion. I do not lace my shoes super tight as it causes me discomfort as my feet swell with walking, weight training and normal use. I recommend you order SW Rockwear laces about 15% shorter in length than your original non-stretchy shoe laces if you don't want an excessive amount of lace in the finished tied area.An interesting benefit of the stretch in this product is it tends to be more comfortable with less pressure on tops of feet. Additionally, the unique repeating bulge "no slip" feature does actually hold the laces in place better than conventional laces. I often wear my Moab shoes untied around the house (for comfort & ventilation) with the laces pulled backwards (as if removing from shoe) so that the ends can't hang down and get dirty or worn. The "no slip" feature keeps these laces perfectly in place in this scenario, while normal laces tend to come further unlaced with movement. Nice feature I had not counted on.I cannot comment as to strength, durability or longevity of these laces as I've had no time to evaluate properly.Value-wise, these SW Rockwear laces cost half as much as alternatives on Amazon as Rockwear's two pairs of laces are priced approximately the same as other's single pair. If these laces last as long as the Merrill originals I will consider this purchase a win WRT cost, plus the advantage of stretch/comfort and lower hassle "no slip" stay-in-place capability.

Great laces
If you want laces that both look good and stay tied these are the ones for you. It's my 2nd time buying boot laces off of Amazon but the first pair would come untied at least 3 times a day during the work day. These ones here are perfect. When I need new laces again, these will be the ones.

Perfect Length & Stays Tied
I neglected to measure these before putting them in my boots, but they are the perfect length for my Wolverine Torque boots and the bumps do their job. If I don't tie them tight enough they might come loose from the top hooks, but the knot NEVER unties itself. The color is exactly as pictured.

Reliable laces
You don't want your laces on your hiking boots to come loose and cause you to trip on them or lose your boot and these laces stay tied while wet, muddy, or slimy.

Great stuff
I wore these on my boots and climbed a mountain twice within a couple days without any issues. They held the boot tight and didn’t slip or come undone at all. They were perfect and having the second pair was a complete bonus. Very happy with the quality of these laces and highly recommend if you do a lot of bush travel or climbing. Perfect laces for adventuring.

Can be a bit of a challenge to tighten laces
I find that the very thing that helps to keep these laces tied up makes them a bit difficult to pull on to make them tight. Arthritis in my hands requires laces that slide easily through the boot lace holes. Once they are tied though, they stay that way.
