My son was very happy with this video we are slowly replacing his collection

My son loved this DVD. Even though we are homeschooling, I wanted to help him get excited for the transition into a formal learning environment, and this DVD did the trick. Now he is excited about the possibilities of learning all day and engaging with books and school materials. Even though he had some familiarity with the concept of school, this DVD helped boost his excitement for the change.

My son loves his Dora DVD's and we keep buying more and more every week.

Amazon is the only place that I buy DVD's. It is the best deal, the best price, and you do no have to waste gas driving around to see if the DVD is in stock anywhere else.

After reading the information on this DVD, we thought it used all the Nickelodeon characters named in one single story about the first day of school. That is not what this DVD is and it's the reason we are giving only a 3-star rating. The DVD is a compilation of school related episodes that have been shown on TV (several of which we have already seen many times):Episode #1: Dora the Explorer "First Day of School"Episode #2: Go, Diego, Go "Linda the Librarian"Episode #3: Blue's Clues "Blue Takes You to School"Episode #4: Wonder Pets "Off to School" & "Save the Pangaroo"Episode #5: Ni Hao, Kai-Lan "Lulu Day."We love the Nickelodeon characters and shows, but we were looking for something more specific in helping to prepare our daughter to begin kindergarten. Through Amazon, we also purchased the "Getting Ready for Kindergarten" DVD by Rock `N Learn and love it.
