Victoria's SecretExtreme Lip Plumper Crystal clear new/sealed

First application caused my lips to burn, I almost wiped it off but slowly the burn faded within a few minutes. Very very minimal "plumping" effect for all of that burn. Really wanted this to work. I can't really see the kind of difference I hoped for when looking in the mirror but I can *feel* a SLIGHT plumpness when pressing my lips together. I wanted the fine lines to plump out so that my matte lip sticks don't look horrible, but the lines are still noticeable. It feels like the VS Beauty Rush lip gloss, which I like because it's not sticky and doesn't dry out fast. So having it on as clear gloss only earns it 2 stars. No smell or taste on the bright side.For the price I could have bought peppermint or cinnamon oil and just added the drops to a $1 clear lip gloss for plumping.
