Roped Provel Deli Container, 2 Pound (Pack of 2)

So good! I'm down in Texas and really missing St. Louis food, so I figured "what the heck, I NEED 4 lbs of cheese in my life". Despite a weird error in shipping initially where my cheese was delivered to freaking Hibbing, Minnesota (I have NO idea how they messed that up), my second order came to me very quickly in a refrigerated box. One of the plastic cheese packages was popped open a little, but I couldn't care less. The cheese is great and tastes just like the packs I used to buy at Schnuck's. It was delivered on April 20th and says it expires in late September, and I've already finished one of the packages. So glad they sell this online!

The creamiest softest cheese ever. As a cheese lover this is my guilty pleasure. Yes it's a little pricey but for the quality and quantity it's well worth it. I love it on pizza or anything really or even heated up in a small bowl. It came packed well and was still very cold when I received it.

I am so pleased to have found this vendor and product. If you've ever been to St. Louis and tried Provel cheese then you probably fell in love with it. You've probably also been disappointed that you can't source it on the East Coast. On a whim I have occasionally searched Amazon for this product and was pleasantly surprised last week when this buying option became available. It arrived as promised, well packaged in cooled/insulated packing. The cheese is delicious and exactly as I remember from my last visit to St. Louis. It will take me a while to consume 4 pounds of it but I'll definitely be ordering again!

I made almost perfect replicas of Imo’s pizza with this cheese! So good! I live in South Florida and my cheese arrived still cold and very well insulated with the dry ice packs. It has been in my refrigerator for 2 weeks and it’s still delicious.

It's kind of expensive, but soon hard to find outside of St. Louis. I'm super excited about it! My only recommendation is that whoever packs it needs to add more ice packs, especially when sending it to Arizona, in June. They were completely thawed and if I hadn't checked my front door when I did, the cheese would have been ruined. But fortunately, its ok and we are making pizza and salad now! St. Louis style baby!! The rope cheese is for the salads and the block is for the pizzas!!!

I love this product. I was very lucky as I knew what date to expect delivery. The delivery service left a package at our door for a home down the street. I walked the package to 2620 N. Orchard and found my cheese delivered to that address. Our address is 2630 N. Orchard. The packages were not similiar at all as the 2620 N. Orchard package was small and probably an article of clothing as it was a soft package. My package was shipped in a dry pack box to keep the cheese cold. Just wanted to let Amazon know what happened.

This is the cheese I received !!! It was already opened and attempted to close again with no label at all on it -clearly inferior product I did not expect this from these people it’s disgusting and outrageous ! My favorite cheese But I am afraid to ever order it again this this looks like it came out of the dumpster that people have been reporting. Would be a negative 5 stars if possible

Being from St louis I was pumped to find this deliverable. Being that the box says "perishable" on it, you would think they may deliver it first part of the day. NOPE. Just delivered at 715p. Was probably on the hot truck all day. Immediately oped it up and it didn't look very good. The Ice packs that were with it were melted and warm and the oil was beginning to show. What a load of crap. I am hoping I can get the temp down on it and save it. Otherwise I just wasted $50 on gooey cheese. Not too happy. If you are going to charge $50 for 2 lbs of cheese, maybe overnight it or at best 2 days with dry ice. SMH.
