I hate phone cases
I hate phone cases. I hate shopping for cases even more. When I reluctantly began to search, I couldn't find a case with a perfect color/price/dimension trifecta and thought I never would. Until I ordered this ringke case.Success!I love the stylish looks of the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge, and having had black phones forever, it was sight of beauty. However, words cannot describe how incredibly slick the phone is, both front and back. Thus, I immediately began the grunt work of research into a case.I really wanted the speck brand candyshell case for its known grip and drop protection but the only color it came in is white which I found too loud, or black, which was a visble dust magnet with all the rubber backing. Without alternative color from that manufacturer, at that time, I gave up.Then I came across a popular discuss board where phone fanatics (i.e. case addicts who buy 20-50 cases and post detailed reviews) highly recommended this Ringke case. Let me save you hours of website and YouTube reviews and say they were right. Also, if you plan on buying a phone screen protector (film not glass) this one will match without any interference:Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Protector [Case Friendly], Armorsuit MilitaryShield w/ Lifetime Replacement - Anti-Bubble Ultra HD Premium Shield - ClearIn summary, if you hate cases like me, get this case.I had a few lasting questions before purchasing and having not found answers, I answer them now for others to read:Is it worth it?- Absolutely and it's only the cost of a few big macs. Don't over pay for an equal or inferior product. Is the case light? How light is light?- Hard to answer because that's so subjective but basically... It's thin to a degree that I don't find it annoying to slip in and out of my front Jean pocket. It's flexible to make installation easy, pops right into place, but still feels firm and strong and I don't fear it will warp like cheap plastic cases do. It adds noticeable weight yes but I find it adds added grip and balance. I prefer to handle the phone with the extra weight a LOT actually. The phone by itself is top heavy because the camera is closer to the top. This means that since you naturally hold at the bottom, when you lift your thumb during typing, the phone feels like it's going to fall backwards out of your control. With the added weight and grip this case provides, it redistributes the weight and feel and balance in a way that I find to be an improvement. I feel like the center of gravity is lowered closer to the middle where I want the balance to be. That's just my perception. Will the clear color yellow?- I see absolutely zero yellowing. Its doesn't stain with food or liquids from accidental spills and contamination. Its slick enough that wiping with my t shirt makes it look brand new again. I can scratch it with my fingernail and the case won't have a mark. I thought the material would scuff in a week but it is very durable. Keys in my pocket rubbing the phone and case on a daily basis have yet to make a mark.Does the case add grip because in pictures the case looks just as shiny and slick like the actual phone?- The case looks shiny, and slick, but adds just enough grip that sweaty hands don't make me fumble the phone. Think of the texture and feel of a plastic looking raincoat. It's shiny and reflective but feels rubbery and grippy to the touch. That's exactly how this case is and my biggest head ache to find in my research. Let me put it another way. When I drive I like to have the phone on top of my thigh. Without a case, the phone slips with the slightest car movement. With the case, it stays put even in turns. Slick looking grip is so hard to describe so I hope this helps. How do the buttons feel?- They don't stick out to where they catch in my pocket. They feel responsive and almost as if they are the actual phone buttons. The case isn't loose and the buttons aren't floaty like in poorly made cases. Will it interfere with a film screen protector?- From what I read, you should search for a "case friendly" film such as the armorsuit brand I listed above. The two fit without touching. I haven't tested a glass molded screen protector because I don't want the added weight.Anything else?- Actually it came with a stencil so if I wanted to say, cut a picture from a magazine to use as a background, I could make an exact fit. Neat.Anything I would change or wish I could change?- No. And I thought about it for a long time. Go to any brick and mortar store. Cases run from $25 to $50 and some even higher. They're all ugly, over priced, and I want to burn them all at first sight. This case is such a bargain, I would pay double and still be happy. Thank you Ringke for putting out a quality product without ludicrous prices.Summary: buy now with 1 click and thank me later.I never write reviews and I just wrote a massive one for a case. That just happened.

Very well designed case!
Great case, excellent price!I've had this case for about two weeks now and its working great. The case is very thin and clear and fits like a glove on the galaxy 7. It does not hinder the good looks of your new galaxy or the curved edge. The case also covers the function bottoms on the sides, mini usb and headphone input. The cover on the side buttons does not hinder the functionality at all, and it's actually great to have them covered and protruding out rather than having to dig my finger tip to find the button. The flaps that cover the headphone and mini usb input are also pretty cool. They cover the holes and keep dirt/dust from getting in. It's very easy to open the flaps to connect your headphones/charger because it has a groove on the inside edge so you can just flip it open. The case is very very well thought out and designed. One little, simple thing, which amazes me the most, that they did with the case is the corner offsets on the back, which keep the back surface of your case from touching other surfaces. These little corner offsets on the back will keep your case from getting scratches from other flat surfaces. One thing worth mentioning is, if you try to plug the mini usb to usb adapter that came with your phone, the opening is almost not wide enough to accept the adapter. It will stay on, but with any slight movement, the adapter will disconnect. So you might have to take your case off for this adapter as well as changing your storage/sim card. Headphone opening is fine. Four stars for adapter issue.
