My dog loves is and he wasn't eating very well before. He loves the gravy and meat chunks. He's 77 and lays down when he eats. He is able to lick the bowl clean

High palatability, decreased availability, gravy to solid ratio a bit off
I have a young borzoi who is turning 2 soon and I'm spending the month prior transitioning from puppy food to adult food. He gets Purina Pro Plan Focus Large Breed Puppy which is a line that is being revamped so everything is in flux. He is now transitioned fully to the dry food adult, but he also gets 2 cans of wet a day.He really likes this food but I'm less than thrilled with the gravy component, I prefer pate/ground mixtures for consistency. Apparently this doesn't exist for large breed adults (you have sensitive stomach fish based and grain free non-large breed versions) but he doesn't need sensitive stomach and while large breed isn't required (please refer to any food's AAFCO statement to ensure the food is appropriate for your pet's life stage regardless of size), I avoid grain free foods due to the heart disease correlation we are still investigating.Anyway, he loves this food but it's no longer being produced as far as I can tell and I am switching him to the ground canned Savor line for now. We'll see what I continue with long term. He eats the canned savor just fine but his eyes kind of light up with this one. I might get a few cases just for an every now and then special breakfast.
