Jatamansi root also known as spikenard is mentioned in the Bible, the oil that Mary used to anoint Jesus’s feet. It is fragrant, earthy, grounding a famous perfume oil. This powder is a relative of valerian so is relaxing and anti inflammatory. I am using it to reduce blood pressure, blood sugar, ease anxiety and improve sleep. It tastes like tree bark or tree root, not tasty but grounding, earthy and satisfying. Add 1/4 tsp to a little water daily to stay calm and healthy.

I like it for it's calming abilities - but I can't find information on whether or not it's okay for internal use? Just because it's organic doesn't necessarily mean it's for internal (I find a lot of external only products that are organic). It doesn't say external only (I don't believe), and it does suggest how to make a tea, but a few of my other Indian herbs like shikakai are labeled organic and also external only (confused). So, I want to be sure with this one that it's safe to inject.

I order this for my hair oil and it is of good quality. I am able to easily incorporate this herb in to my beauty product. It did wonder for my hair and skin

Washed hair once after applying this noticed a smoothness in my 4c hair. That is a yes for me 😀

I'm a perfumer I bought this as a sample to find I good supplier. After a close examination this product is adulterated it is mixed with some type of clay,dirt sand, maybe metals rendering it unsafe for human use..do to not knowing what they are cutting it with it is not a pure product.. whatever they are putting in it could clog pores, or introduce, fungal or bacterial infection or be something that could enter the blood stream through the skin.. whatever the company is cutting it with would explain it's absolute amazing price undercut every one else by a lot

I am very interested in using this, but there is no scoop to measure the dosage. Grams do not translate to teaspoons, as they are a measure of weight, and different products have different weights per teaspoon or Tablespoon. The package shows a serving size of 21 grams, but no number of servings in a packet. I see here on the listing they recommend a dosage of 6 grams per day, but still no way to measure. I don't have anything that will measure this small an amount.
