I had flakiness and redness on my chin for over a month or two, and it was starting to spread to other parts of my face. I tried several natural products on the problem, but nothing helped. I drink pomegranate juice everyday; and while I was researching the health benefits of drinking the juice, I came upon an article about pomegranate seed oil, and how the oil had excellent results for skin problems on the face.I bought the oil that day, and it arrived the next day. I used the oil three times a day, and after only six days, I saw a 95% improvement. The oil goes on like honey, but, unlike honey, it absorbs into the skin relatively quickly.I continued to use it after the flaking and redness had gone. What did I notice? My face has a healthiness about it, and some of my wrinkles are less noticeable. Also, there is a small dry spot on my cheek that I’ve had for years, and it is getting smaller.At a party recently someone commented to me that I had a beautiful “glow” to my face. I should add that I am 76 years old, and that’s something I haven’t heard for a long time. This product really works.

First time trying this oil, not sure of the recent label changes surrounding how companies can list an item as organic or not. There was a pleasant smell to this oil which was good, after reading conflicting reports. I just pray people are not being deceptive and selling poor quality items when it comes to health, medicine, and things we consume, there has to be some integrity there.I enjoy this oil and use it at night among other things, so far so good.

nice smell but it's pretty sticky

I do a lot of my own body care and skin care products. Having good carrier oils is important to me. Let's take a look at this one.CONTAINERThis comes in a glass amber container with a label that covers it all so the light is not going to hit the oil inside as easily. It has a glass dropper with a rubber tip on top that screws down into the bottle. It also comes in a box.THICKNESSThis oil is thick like honey. It is not runny like MCT coconut oil or jojoba oil is.ODORThis is a perfect nutty odor to it. IT smells like fresh seeds of a pomegranate. I have had other oils in the past that did not smell this fresh. It is NOT going to smell fruity, so don't expect that.COLORThis is a clear slightly amber liquid but mostly clear.STICKY?This oil is not at all sticky. It is a little thick when you first put it on. I don't have a problem with that as it soaks in pretty quickly. However, I also blend this with rosehip oil, jojoba, and argan or prickly pear cactus oil to get a well rounded face care oil.DOES IT HELP?I have a dry patch on my arm from stress. I have been putting this on twice a day and I must say that it is getting better after only a few days. I also have used it on a scar in my head alternating between castor and this. It seems to be helping that to diminish too.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice quality oil. It smells fresh, performs well, and I really enjoy using it in my blends or straight out of the bottle. Just don't plan on using this before you go out the door somewhere. Evening is a better time.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I would buy this again. I like it and will use it. I develop an allergic reaction to a face serum and I could not exfoliate my face. The thin scaring was pulling my skin in all directions and I had to be careful on what product I put on to keep it moist. I was using a heavy moisturizer but I could not get relief. I was also in a hurry to get better because I needed to get back to work. I read that the oil was good for inflammation and I applied it all over my face neck.The oil is heavy and it takes using very little; once on the skin it will melt further, gets thinner and absorbed by the skin slowly. The oil helped expedite healing process by restoring the elasticity of the skin little by little. I believe that the reason it worked is because the oil last on the skin much longer than a moisturizer. I applied it in the morning, and it lasted all day. Even the heaviest moisturizer will only last about 8 hrs.Also, it is winter; the cold air outside dries the skin faster; the heater inside the house does just as much damage. The oil protected me from both. It only took 3 days for my skin to be ready for exfoliating and remove all the dead skin as a result of the allergic reaction. I am grateful, my skin is back to normal.I recommend it if you have chronic dryness in any part of the body; if you do a lot of outdoor sports in the winter; If you are allergic to most creams. The scent of oil is minimal to none.

This is one of those serums that I reserve for what I call a spa day. That's because this is not something you want to try and rush on your way out the door. Unless you are only using it for spot work, this is something that you want to allow plenty of down time to let this serum take its time sinking into your pores to provide a rich moisturization.It's a clear sticky mess straight from the bottle and feels to me like I'm applying honey to my face. I would also suggest that, when using, tie your hair back so that you don't end up with oil streaks in your hair that need washing out. This serum spreads over the face easily enough, but it takes forever to fully sink into your skin. As I mentioned, you do not want to use this when you're getting ready for work or have some other pressing out of the house obligation or you'll end up just going back and washing this away so you can apply make-up or whatever you need to do to go about your day. This is for luxuriating and allowing your skin to get the benefits of a really rich oil that moisturizes your skin. Or maybe use it in the evening a couple hours before bedtime to prepare your face for the next day. You don't want to go to bed too soon because you'll not like messing up your pillow cases.Unlike some serums, this does not tighten or firm up the skin. It's what it does to moisturize and soften the skin that is what this has to offer.
