I haven’t notice any cover. Just use a old heavy beach towel or blanket to cover, is what I would use.

How do I know that the sharpening kit will work for my push mower # 415 - 16 from great states

It worked fine on my mower. If you own or can rent or borrow an electric drill with a 1/2 inch chuck it will make the sharpening experience a lot less tedious!

Will this be effective in cutting ground cover, like mimosa, instead of turf grass?

I looked up what is mimosa and it could be a small bush, tree, etc. All I know that when I got this lawn mower, it was easy and effective in cutting my small front lawn. I would think if it is a small bush, it could do the job.
