PHILIPSAvent Fast Bottle Warmer with Smart Temperature Control: Warms Evenly, No Hotspots – SCF358/00

I decided to write this review after noticing the amount of people complaining about this product.The building quality is really good. Much, much better than other famous brand that I had in the past, and that after a couple of months of intermittent use it started leaking from the bottom.The presets for the volume work very well too. It is fast (~3-5 minutes to a warm bottle, depending on the volume), and also keeps the ideal temperature once is warm.The only thing that is not very well described in the instructions is how much water you should put in the device. There's a change in the internal diameter, but if you fill with water just until that level, the milk doesn't comes warm enough. This is perhaps the reason why some customers are complaining about the bottle warmer not working properly. We now add water until it reaches the same height than the milk in the bottle and now it works like a charm.

We have been trying to use this for a while now and we just can’t seem to get it to work. We found that the bottle didn’t warm up enough in the time they state it should, so instead we have to leave it in there for 25 minutes plus. Even then sometimes it isn’t warm. It’s very hit and miss. I like the idea but this didn’t work for us

This is a good bottle warmer, it works well and I use it every night for the baby. It is very easy to use and keeps the milk nice and warm without overheating it and making it to hot. I recommend it to all. It keeps the milk just at the right warmth for long periods so is perfect! it definitely improves the standard of life for the little one even though it is such a simple small thing :-)

This bottle warmer made the first year of being a parent much easier! Using it cannot be much simpler as it is a matter of turning a dial, pressing a button, and waiting for the light to stop blinking. Don’t forget to test the milk because on a couple of occasions, the milk was too warm. I would buy this again despite that.

We use this for our glass Avent bottles and it does a really good job of heating them up and maintaining them. Has very good dry heating protection, and is good at maintaining the bottle temperature for an hour. Would recommend!

We started off with the NUK bottle warmer until we got tired of the milk always being boiling! This is slower than the NUK but it is more accurate as you can say exactly how many ounces of milk you have (if it is refrigerated just increase it by an extra ounce). We now have 2 (one upstairs and one downstairs).

The Philips Avent bottle warmer is a disappointment. It lacks a built-in thermometer, making it unreliable for warming milk from the fridge or freezer. The heating times are inconsistent, sometimes overheating milk to 45°C, destroying essential vitamins. For the price, it’s poorly designed and not worth it.
