I bought this mainly because it included small elastic bands and a tool to pull hair through the bead. What I wasn’t expecting was that the metal beads are great too. I actually spent twice what I spent on this kit on a separate metal bead, but it really wasn’t necessary. Highly recommended.

Let's get the bad out of the way - those guiders are NOT for beards. Three broke immediately. They're perfect for head hair but not robust enough for bead hair. 1 star off. The bands are very good, none snapped. The beads themselves are outstanding value. I would have paid for these alone. They're well designed and authentic looking and I'm really very pleased with them. So, all in all, it's a win!

The beads themselves are lovely but they are hard to get on the hair, specially when the tool used just keeps snapping.now I know why they supply a few for each purchase however after one wear we went through 3/4

The plastic tools break with the slightest of use, I had 2 break simply by putting my fingers through them to thread my beard through, and the elastics, while stretchy are not grippy in the slightest, so do not hold to the beard or keep the beads in place. Utterly useless, cheap, grossly packaged rubbish.

Brilliant for our viking day at school. You get so many, loads and loads of black bands (perfect for plaits) & tools to get the metal things on. Definitely worth it!

Beads and bands are brilliant, the threading tool is flimsy and snaps easily, they do send several threading tools though so wasn't a major issue, my other half wore them in his beard and received lots of compliments including his favourite "That is epic!"
