I was very careful to use only a tablespoon or less of batter. The first time I used it it overflowed all over the counter. THe second time I used it which was less then a tablespoon of batter it still over flowed. I think it is directly related to the shape of the waffle plate as they are squared instead of pyramid shape. I used this side by side with the dash and didn’t have this problem.

Make sure you put this on a plate when you use it!

I like how simple and easy to use it was. It kept its temperature and heated up fast. I do recommend using something to prevent it sticking.

It came broken out of the box, but the damage was minor. A chunk was missing from the hinge area and the back footing piece was cracked through. But it was still functional and worked well, the lid doesn’t stay open on it’s own nearly caught my hand in it the first time. Handle area is smaller and harder to get a hold of than it may seem.

Bought this in February and already it’s not working ... The first one I received didn’t work the replacement only lasted 2 months .. Disappointed
