Kitchen Sink Basket Strainer Replacement for US Standard Drains (3-1/2 Inch), Premium 304 Stainless Steel Body W/with Brass Post (Spring Clip) 1 Pack

I have three stainless steel sink drains in my kitchen (a double-bowl sink, and a single-bowl sink). They are about 25 years old, but still in great condition. For a long time I've needed some good replacement strainer/stoppers for the sinks. I've bought several of different styles which said they were "universal"... meaning they fit all sinks. Those did a good job of straining (letting water run through them), but they were not good stoppers... and sometimes you NEED the sink to hold water for various purposes. I looked on Amazon to find one that looks just like the only original sink/stopper I have left. I selected these VARNAHOME strainers/stoppers, ordered three of them, and they came today. They look very much like my original one, but the best part is that they really do hold water in the sink! I'm so pleased with this purchase!

I couldn't find a replacement stopper that worked the way it's supposed to in my local stores so turned to Amazon. This is exactly what I needed. It stays is place allowing water to drain while keeping food particals from going down the drain. Pushing the stopper down then keeps the water in the sink. Well made and sturdy.

Solid metal post was important and the fact that it has a brass post is a plus. The spring clip holds tightly with no leaks. The construction is solid and it feels like it will last for a while. Some others are cheaper with a plastic post, but I can’t see them lasting as you are putting the most force on the post when you push it in the drain.

This is a tad smaller than the one I wanted to replace which had issues with holding water being it was around 43 years old. Regardless, though, It works great and locks the water in beautifully. I am so happy I found this product as locally, no one sold this model separately from the rest of the plumbing apparatus that is in the sink.

I should have order 2.I only ordered 1 because,I want to make sure it fits.It fits perfectly in my kitchen sink! I am going to order another 1 for the other sink.I give a 👍🏾up!

Exact fit and operates as described. Good value for money. Will repeat buy if we lose this one, like we did with the first.

It didn't fit our Kohler sink drain as well as I expected.

The product was delivered on time and is exactly what I've need for 17 years. the sink stopper/strainer I had has not worked properly since we bought this home in 2004. This one works perfectly. Thank you.
