This thing is hard as a rock. It is like sitting on a cement stoop. Comfortable they said. I cannot imagine any one thinking it is comfortable.

I bought this for my dad who is 92 yrs.old thinking it would help him in getting up from his chair but it was just too firm for him. I had to send it back. I'm sure it would work for other situations but was just to hard for him.

I was completely shocked when my dad popped up out of his recliner! He liked it so much he asked me to order TWO more to put around the house! Great purchase and value for anyone having a problem with getting up from a seated position!

Finances were tight and this was a sufficient substitute for an expensive lift chair.Placing it on my favorite chair it was just right for me.

The chair pad is firm and supportive so it does work well as a seat riser for low seats. It would be best if it had a anti-slip surface on the back to keep it from sliding. Overall, it is a good, supportive and comfortable cushion.

I specifically bought this cushion for my 91 year old mother who broke her hand and cannot use her hands to help her rise from lower chairs now. She needs elevation to be able to stand up. I myself sat on it and smushed down to being about an inch and a half high. It's certainly not worth nearly thirty dollars. I could buy high density foam from a craft store and make a better cushion than this for less money, but ultimately, the issue is that it will not work for its intended purpose. I would rate this product zero stars if I could.
