Everlast 80-Pound Platinum Heavy Bag

80 pounds for upper body is fine. the hooks given were very cheap and i stripped all of them had to buy more that was a con. but i can always reuse them. you can kick it but need a partner to hold it down or have it tied down. even 100 pound bags I tend to move around a lot. its very strong after each use i take it down roll it back in shape and store inside my house. out of weather and so forth. you do need good gloves ive tore my knuckles up hitting it with high force. but thats on me not the bag even leather bags will cut you up. I highly recommend it for the price get two why not still cost the same as other bags.

it came with the straps in the pic. diff logo tho. still cool. the bottom is a lil tough but its still sockable. even with bare fist, but 12+ punching on this thing bare fist and ur leaving bloody skid marks. same with elbows. the top is super soft. kinda too soft but i dont work in that area so who cares. that would only be affective to a consumer if you hung the bag low, very low!Pro: awesome rich look, material is nice and seems to be holding up fine after about 4 weeks with it, only use it every other day tho.cons: bottom can be to stiff if you're scrawny and flimsy (not a bad thing, just the truth for people who want what they pay for) if you hit this bare fist you will bleed within 12 or so hits. you can't even elbow it with out being in a long sleeve or in a sweater with out it cutting a few layers of your skin... leaving a carpet burn pain-like sensation.over all i rate it 4 stars cause its beyond worth the 45$. i dont give it 5 stars cause you can't hit it bare-fist

This punching bag now hangs in my basement and is exactly as described. I love having easy stress relief and the bag is filled perfectly (not rock hard but won't absorb your fist either) for my preferences. Would definitely recommend.

I got this with a christmas gift card because it seemed to be good guality and although I got it fast and installing it was easy, it was a complete waste of money. The bag broke at the seams AND the D-rings snapped off within four to five weeks! I only use my heavy bags for jabs, crosses, and hooks so you can imagine what a piece of junk this is! Now i'm having a horrible time trying to get my money back from either amazon or the manufacturer!!! Do yourself a favor, and SHOP ELSE WHERE!

I bought this as a relatively inexpensive bag to beat on in the shop. It's since been used heavily being punched and kicked by 4 guys for 2 months and has held up really well. My only advice is not to hit it without gloves. It has a texture similar to canvas and is very rough on your hands

Sliding around on canvas in shorts and short sleeves = carpet burn city. It'll still work, but in retrospect I wish I would have spent a few more dollars for an actual synthetic leather bag.

This bag is great! As stated by others, this bag is not exactly as described.. The bag is made of some abrasive material that is very rough on bare skin (bag is pretty bloody after only 1 day..) I would highly recommend getting some hand wraps if your concerned with this. Otherwise, it is exactly what I was looking for, and a great value at $50!

I read about earlier reivews before placing the order. I realized that the previouse customers were complaining about metal chains instead of nylon straps shown in the picture. I thought what the hack, i can work with metal chains... however, mine arrived without any chains, webbing system, or double ended attachement as described in the product features... Just the bare bag itself!! How am i supposed to use it? I checked local stores online, none close to me sell those chains, which means i have to go back to amazon and buy my set of chains??
