They are hreat
Hint: Don’t order these if you live in Alabama in July to be delivered to a black mailbox, unless your going to be there to get them right away. Mine were melted completely but I was my fault I should have made arrangements to have them removed from the mailbox. 😂😂 It truly is a great product!!!

This melting candy was unusable!
This item was unusable. The candy did not melt. I tried melting it in a double boiler but it just turned into the texture of concrete. I then I tried to melt it in a microwave but it got brown but still had the texture of concrete. The wood spoon I used and the bowl I used are now totally attached with to the concrete texture of the candy.

An easy solution to tempering chocolate
If you're a baker or a dessert maker, you know the trials and tribulations of tempering chocolate. We've all seen that episode of Gourmet Makes, where Claire can't temper her chocolate and she has an emotional breakdown. These dark candy wafers offer a solution - a candy coating that LOOKS like dark chocolate and tastes vaguely like dark chocolate, but friends, it is NOT dark chocolate, nor is it a replacement for dark chocolate. Use this for those less-important chocolate projects, where you don't want to lose your mind tempering chocolate. I made my mother chocolate truffles for her birthday - four variations to be precise - and I knew that I didn't want to deal with tempering chocolate. The project was just too large, and I didn't want to mess up my mother's birthday gift. I bought these because I felt it would be a great alternative to actually dark chocolate, and in some ways, it was. It was definitely easier to handle - just pop them in the microwave, and melt them up. Unlike dark chocolate, which can burn if it is not melted at the correct temperature, these are a lot more forgiving and can handle a bit more heat. They harden beautifully and had a nice 'snap' when biting into the truffles. However, I cannot deny the fact that it DID NOT TASTE like dark chocolate, and that's why I only gave it four stars. But really - do you think these candy melts can compare to Guittard baking wafers? Absolutely not. But they still made my job easier, and only my picky palette could tell the difference. In fact, I experimented a little bit, and decided to mix in a few actually baking wafers with these candy melts, just to see how it would react. They still set up just fine, and they definitely improved the flavor. If you decide to do this yourself, just add the chocolate gradually and start with small amounts. Like I said, if you want to give yourself a break and try these in your chocolate projects, then go for it. But...they are not a true replacement for tempered dark chocolate.

Will def buy again
Great color nice and bright! Melted very quickly and easily. Tastes great. Used for chocolate covered pretzels and the texture was very smooth and not gritty at all. Lasted great even through some high heat, but i did keep them in the fridge.

No cracking
These worked so good, I made chocolate covered strawberries that looked like carrots in dirt (crushed Oreos) and they didn’t crack! They tasted good, like milk chocolate! The bag was only enough for a small strawberry box. So I recommend getting plenty more bags if ur doing a lot of strawberries. I will definitely be repurchasing for my special desserts!

Doesn't melt completely
This doesn't quite melt all the way. I've been working with chocolate for 15+years, so I know what I'm doing. These black candy melts just would not melt the way chocolate or other candy melts do, but remained very thick and a bit clumpy. They might be OK for molds, but not pouring. Several people mentioned the color was more chalky/ gray than black. While they did lighten considerably while heated, they turned black again once cooled.

Ich habe die CandyMelts für "Schneeball"-Capepops einer "Eiskönigin-Geburtstagsfeier" bestellt und diese sind wirklich toll geworden. Der Überzug schmeckt sehr vanillig und trocknet gut und schön glatt. Die Farbe ist wirklich reinweiß und nicht gelblich, wie bei z.B. weißer Schokoloade. Kleiner Tipp: Ich habe beim Schmelzen noch etwas Palmin zwischen die CandyMelts gegeben, damit wird die Glasur flüssiger, glatter und lässt sich besser verarbeiten.

super produit,il suffit d'essayer pour être conquise..c'est un peu épais, il suffit d'y ajouter un tout petit peu d'huile neutre , de végétaline ou de crisco et on a des cake pops parfaites, a recommander..expédié rapidement, super
