Don’t do it
Absolutely terrible. It does not work on the same concept of other ravioli makers where you put a large amount of filling into the top and it takes what it needs as you turn. You have to fill each ravioli individually. After painstakingly trying to get location and amount right it doesn’t matter. The machine destroys your dough, doesn’t cut it and squeezes your filling out.

Very difficult to use correctly
I spent 3-4 hours trying to make this thing work and it just involves too many steps to get right. I managed a few successful sheets of raviolis, but it messed up a lot more than it worked and the mess it made was a huge hassle. I got this because I really liked using the Imperia machine it attaches to when creating sheets and spaghetti, but this attachment just isn't worth the trouble. It's not that it doesn't work. It does. Just... sometimes. It's that the process has too many steps and unless you get each one exactly right it makes a mess. Then the dough sheets you used have filling smashed into them, which makes trying to flatten out that dough again to reuse doesn't work right.I eventually used a separate ravioli-form we had gotten for 15$ and it worked fine every time. Plus those raviolis were bigger and I like that anyway. I could have made 4x the number of raviolis if I hadn't been stubborn and kept trying to make this machine work, but I figured I had spent the money on it and should keep trying.Maybe there's some particular dough/filling/flour/setup technique that makes this thing fly through ravioli, but I'm probably never taking it out of the box again to try. Good luck to anyone who does. If anyone gets this to work reliably I'd love to know how you did it.

Don't waste your dough...or time...or money
So I've had pretty good results with all the other attachments from Imperia--spaghetti, tagliatelle, pappardelle, lasganette. I expected to get equally good results with the ravioli maker...nope. I even watched several videos of people demonstrating how to use it. I tried more filling, less filling, etc. Nothing really gave consistent results. Half my ravioli came out not sealed completely, so those will surely pop open in the water. I ended up making another batch of pasta and just filling the ravioli by hand...after throwing away about 50% of the ones out of this machine. It made a huge mess, too. Never again! At least I don't need to worry about cleaning it since it's going in the trash. Not sure if the Marcato is better; it seemed to get better reviews but I imagine you'd have to get the Marcato machine as the parts are likely not interchangeable.

I am a pretty good home chef
I have it, I am a pretty good home chef, but every time, I got a ridiculous mess, money down the drain. I didn't buy it from Amazon though -from memory- but I do not recommend it at all, my honest view.

Great 2 large ravioli maker
My wife loves making fresh pasta with the kids. Watching the pasta go in, turning the handle and seeing the finished product come out is all very exciting for our 1, 4 and 6 year-olds all of who want a turn at the handle. The product is well built and easy to use for any age. I specifically chose this ravioli maker as it makes 2 larger ravioli at a time rather than 3 small ones. The chute for the filling could be a little larger if I were being hyper-critical.I'd recommend this to families who enjoy preparing meals together.
