Works well with no issues
I hate spills of oils and liquids when I am working on vehicles especially those under the hood. I put these pads under the area that I am working to catch the drips and spills. Removing power steering fluid or brake fluid I will put a pad under the reservoir to catch the drips. After I remove a hose or say the thermostat housing I will place a pad under them to catch the small amount of coolant that drips out. Makes a cleaner more professional outcome IMHO. If I have a situation that there are small fasteners I will place a pad under the work area to help catch the fastener when I drop one into the engine bay abyss. Catches the fasteners more often than not. I will put one or two down in strategic locations while doing a brake flush or oil change to keep oil off of the garage floor Incase or more likely when I miss the container and in that capacity the Airmatrix pads work great. Nice size for my use any larger and the pads would be too big and smaller would be less useful for my use.

These are great!
I have only used a few of these so far. They seem to do the job just fine. They are not pigmat.. But they are a close second especially for the cost difference. Soak up oil just fine.UPDATE: 04/06.2018These are great after running through one box I have them on order regularly. They work well and hold quite a lot of fluid. These are nice for the price and I would put them up against the name brand stuff any time. Keep in mind they do not come in the box like picture but they work very well.

Good working pig mats
These pig mats work, they absorb, you can even wring them out and use it again if you have a large spill.

Great Value! Material NOT what you expect but still great
They are not the material you would expect. They have fuzz like a wool blanket. I love them for the sheer fact that I am able to use them as towels and such for cushioning separating aluminum parts as well as great oil absorption. Will order again when done with box!

Decent
These have decent absorption but not as much as I was expecting. They work better than towels and shop rags, but any significant amount of liquid will quickly soak through. They work well for small drops. My motorcycle drips a little oil and gasoline out of a vent tube, and these soak that up fine, but when changing oil or coolant or other fluids on my cars, these soak through pretty fast. If you're working in a space where you can't leave stains on the floor, you'll have to do better than just these. You could probably put these on top of plastic or rubber with some success, though.

This product is OK but Pig Mats are much more durable.
These pads absorb OK but, I don't like how they shred and come apart. I use them in my automotive shop!! I bought them because they were cheaper than the Pig Mats, but I will not buy them again. Just my 2 cent.

Not the best ***Updated***
I wanted to like these, especially for the price. The reality is that I can't wait until I use them all so I can get better ones. They don't do a great job of absorbing automotive oils. They tend to leave some residue on the floor after I pick them up. My other issue is that they are made of compacted balls of fiber. These balls tend to fall off and stick to things leaving additional mess to tend with. I don't recommend these.Update: Downgrading from 2 stars to 1. They're a waste of money. I was too lazy to wipe some spilled oil residue off of a bottle so placed it on a stack of two pads. The oil eventually worked it's way down the bottle into the pads, then through the pads. The rest are going in the trash. I'll order the Pig pads.

Quality pads at a good price
These arrived earlier then expected and are just what I was looking for. I use them under my chainsaw (which are notorious for leaking oil) in my truck and they catch every drop of oil and don't leave my truck bed oily.
