Absolutely brilliant charger
Absolutely brilliant piece of kit and so wished I had bought one before now. Saved a car battery by bringing it back to life and diagnosed my bike battery declaring it no longer worth using. Definitely recommend this charger easy to use and very informative display.

Perfect piece of kit.
Jumped in the car at the weekend and it had died. I have a battery charger for an older car which requires the battery to be removed. My current car is an absolute faff to get the battery out so bought this. It’s perfect. Easy to use and fully charged the battery in about 4 hours. Instructions make sense and it’s conveniently compact - being able to charge the battery in situ is a game changer. I’m sure it’s going to be used again before winter is out…. Great price too as I got mine in the sale.

Value for money battery charger
I was most impressed with the speed that this battery charger worked, the different modes of charging and the buy price. On the Restore Battery mode it charged a completely flat battery that had sat in my old car for 2 years, in 3 hours such that the car started at about the third attempt. Impressive.

Good Quality
Quality battery charger, bought to charge my flat motorbike battery, took around 5 hrs from flat. Can select from 12/24v, also there is a maintenance and repair mode, LED display that shows battery status, charge rate and if there is a problem with the battery, definitely worth the money.

Possibly not really as smart as it says it is, but packs a punch
UPDATE: I'll admit I was pretty cynical about this battery charger, but having used it on our old car's battery, for which car starting after a few days inactivity was previously very much a cross your fingers and hope it has enough oomph to start the car on a cold morning, after charging with this charger, the battery has seemed a fair bit more energetic, even following a few days of the car being unused. Maybe it's psychological, but it's undeniable that the car hasn't failed to start since I charged the battery with this charger, and we've had a recent cold snap. I've updated the rating accordingly, because although cheaper clones are available, there's nothing to say they will be electronically identical to this unit, even if they look the same. My caveat about AGM batteries remains though, get some expert advice before attempting charging one of those. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have a slightly tired car battery, so I wanted a little more information about leaving this charger connected than the rather bare-bones manual provided, so I looked online. After Googling "12V/24V 8Amp Automatic Battery Charger", I found that there are many different variations of this charger, costing anything from about £15 to some over £40. This charger is cloned endlessly, so what you have is a good basic product apparently based on the Anhtczyx ZTX-J30 charger. As is common with cloning, there is often some cost-cutting done to some of them, so some are missing RF suppression inside and others have reduced current output. (Different colour cases are available too, but I wouldn't use colour as a guide to quality.) Interestingly, this "Hausprofi" version has the Anhtczyx name on the front of the charger, which many don't. So that's encouraging. Anyway, what you get is a charger that runs hot enough to need a fan on a cool day (10 deg C), and has temperature protection to reduce output on hot days. Charge current is initially fairly beefy and ramps down as battery voltage increases, eventually turning off when the battery is fully charged. (Fingers crossed!) If you want to maintain your battery, it tells you to set the output to "Motorbike", which doesn't sound particularly smart to me. The whole point of smart chargers is that they know what to output when connected to your battery. The wires are too short, and if you get one that gives out a lot of RF interference it might mess with your pacemaker, so buy with caution. But it'll get you out of a tight spot fairly quickly if you have a flat battery and you have to get your car going. I wouldn't trust it to maintain a battery, however. I'm not about to take mine to bits to see what sort of clone it is, or whether it is an original Anhtczyx. But it works, and the price wasn't unreasonable. Would I recommend it? Well I haven't sent it back, so I suppose that's some sort of endorsement. If you just want something to get your old car going ASAP, then this is fine. If you want a smart charger to charge, condition and maintain your car battery, then I'd advise caution. I absolutely wouldn't let this near an AGM battery. (If you have a car that stops and starts the engine in traffic, you almost certainly have an AGM battery. They can be very pricey and you should get expert advice before attempting to charge them yourself.)

This is a good piece of kit.
This is a good piece of kit. Once reading the manual, was straightforward to use. I do not have a garage but park my car on my drive, also have an external electric point near my drive. Using an extension cable from electric point, plugged in the charger, attached to the battery in my car. Instantly on switching on, it scanned my battery and showed my battery was 40% charged, I left it on, closed down my car bonnet (ensuring charger unit was safely placed underneath as per instructions in manual). It was charging the battery whilst car was outside on my drive. Car bonnet could be closed securely just ensure power cable is in right place. 2 hours later battery fully charged - had checked on it a couple of times during this time and display showed it was charging at 20% increments. I am not a car person, but found this charger amazing and easy to use. For the price, totally good value for money - have not been ripped off

Battery charger
Amazing, works superbly, why buy an expensive one, really how often do you actually use it.

My car battery was so dead, it had a chalk outline around it. I bought this HAUSPROFI charger and now it's not just alive, it's doing push-ups. This thing doesn't just charge batteries—it gives them a motivational speech. It's the best life coach my car has ever had. Five stars

Although the car is only 6 months old living in a retirement village results in vert limited mileage. Recently this resulted in being stranded at the shopping mall. Purchased this very charger which will be used over weekends to keep rhe battery topped up. Very satisfied with the unit
