Great.
I have 3 of these. Very useful for self checkout if you don't like touching random screens with your hands. Made in South Korea.

Great product at a fantastic price
this is a fantastic stylus for the price. I love the brushed metal surface and the over weight and balance. It feels exactly like a pen in my hand and glides very well across the surface of my ipad. Although it has a rubber tip, it seems to be of a better material in comparison to other rubber-tipped styluses that I have owned in the past. I also love that the tip is replaceable and comes with an extra so I don't have to go shopping for a brand new stylus whenever the tip eventually will wear down a little. In addition, the hexagonal shape is amazing. It feels right at home in my hand I go to pick it up and I don't experience any of the awkwardness in holding and writing that I have in the past. Like some other review mention, the packaging is a bit cumbersome and it was somewhat difficult to get the stylus out. But in the end, it really only took a minute, and any residual bits of foam were easily scraped off with no apparant damage to the stylus itself. Life goes on.. Overall, this stylus is perfect for me and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone I come across.

"Must have" Stylus
This stylus is perfect for precision touch and key pressing for touchscreen devices. Pros: -hexagon shape for a better grip and not slipping (very comfortable to use) -glides across the screen smoothly, no drag or stops -very sensitive, works well with touchscreen devices for precise key press -replaceable tip provided -nice metal material: polished, smooth and lightweight Cons: -it's a little hard to remove from the foam packaging but it doesn't affect the performance of the stylus Overall, this is a "must have" for touchscreen devices if you plan to take notes or just use it to press keys. *This product was provided by the manufacturer at a discount in exchange for this honest and unbiased review

In my humble opinion this should be "Award winning for best in it's class!!!"
I work in the wireless industry, as such, I constantly have my Smartphone or tablet in my hands or within reach and I enjoy using a stylus for most of my touch screen navigation and some amount of writing making โhand presenceโ a top priority for me now that Iโm searching for a replacement stylus. I have purchased elago products in the past, in fact I have been using an elago Stylus Grip for right around three years now and Iโve enjoyed that product for many reasons that can already sense I will enjoy in my new Stylus Hexa. The Stylus Hexa is fairly longer and thicker compared to many stylus products on the market (such as the elago Stylus with Clip, which my girlfriend enjoys using), and gives an expected level of responsiveness and resistance when being used. The Stylus Hexa is a quality, well-built product with a better than average feel when held in my large hands for extended periods of use all while having a price point under $15.00 (USD). Frankly I donโt know that I could ask for much more than that in a stylus, although nothing in life can be perfect, can it? Lets start with some pros about the elago Stylus Hexa. The stylus is shorter than the average click-style pen but is long enough to rest against my hand as I hold it like I would any writing tool. The angles of the Stylus Hexa give a good area to grip on what is a very clean and smooth surface (this surface does not show fingerprints, smudge). It is almost perfectly balanced in weight although seems just heavier on the end towards the tip. This weight makes the Stylus Hexa feel substantial, which is a key qualifier for me when I purchase a product, but is not so heavy that I feel it awkward or tiring to use. Even the branding on the stylus gives the appearance of quality and you can tell consideration was put into all of the design elements of this product. I am able to write in script (my preferred method) when using various apps on my devices with no skipping, and navigation is accurate whether swiping or tapping. Even when selecting smaller icons (such as selecting or deleting a tab in a web browser) provides impressively accurate results for the average size tip. Although, there are always parts of a product that could be improved upon with the elago Stylus Hexa my grievances so far come few and far between but consider these comments. First, I would love to have an option for a clip on this stylus, either built in or somehow made into an adapter/option. I often carry pens, highlighters and such in my back pocket and this would make my stylus more accessible for me at times and purchasing options such as the elago Stylus with Clip are just too thin for my preference. Second, the tip, while good at tracking during my gestures in the operating systems (on both Apple and Android products) does smudge or otherwise mark-up the screen similar to leaving fingerprints and it would be nice if this side effect could be decreased or eliminated. My final point regards another pro for this product and also relates to every elago product Iโve ever purchased, the fact is that elago has thoughtfully and expertly executed the colors and materials of their products. I purchased my previous Stylus Grip in the Jean Indigo (after three years of use looks as if I just took it out of the box), the elago Stylus with Clip in White (elegant and simple), and my Stylus Hexa is striking in the Chocolate (it really stands out to my customers, family and friends). I will leave you with these two links to the other (2) elago products Iโve mentioned above that I would also recommend: -This is for the elago Stylus with Clip, I ordered the white one for my girlfriend who enjoys it for gaming on her iPad Mini and I recommend for users with small to average hands. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004X5KUA8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s0 -This is for the elago Stylus Grip and this unit also has a fantastic โhand-presenceโ and is comfortable for extended use. I have the Jean Indigo color, which has been a nice blue that has held up over the years. Definitely recommended for users looking for a heavier stylus or who have larger hands. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052WESJ0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

Does not scratch or chip paint and works as described
Small aside, and while relevant to the product, is not unique to this product alone: With the increased ubiquity of tablet devices amongst professionals, neat cases or cool styli can become conversation starters and indirect networking tools. I like this stylus for that reason. I have this routine where I prominently display this unique stylus when I'm at conferences and meetings. If no one asks about it, but I notice tablets or smartphones, I simply say, "do any of you use styli with your devices? I just got this one, and it seems to work well..." Generally someone then strikes up brief conversation with me and I'm soon chatting with a VP or other major decision-maker in an inconspicuous manner. This is one of those items that can allow you to be inconspicuous by diverting attention away from you and on to the product. Pros: Screen is equally responsive with this stylus as with finger (some styli make every touch too/overly responsive. Sharp design, slightly thicker than a pencil with the same hexagonal design Comes with the extra tip Cons: No clip or other method to hang or store the stylus No cap to prevent the tip from wearing out while not in use; consider backpacks, briefcases, pockets (I don't know if this is a actual problem or a perceived one, I don't have time to set up control and test experiments to determine the lifespan of a tip with and without a cap)

Everything I was looking for in a non-Bluetooth stylus
First of all, I ordered this last night 12:14 am and it was delivered by 11:30am. Amazing turnaround time! I'm really impressed with this stylus so far. I got it as a replacement for my Jot Pro, which I love, but is very noisy when I'm trying to take notes in meetings or lectures. I had actually started using a cheap free stylus I got as a promotional item, because it was quieter. I looked at a lot of reviews, but my usual go-to product reviewer, The Wirecutter, was only recommending more expensive styluses (styli?), even for non-Bluetooth models, and I didn't want to spend more than ~$15 since I'd already spent so much on the Jot Pro a few years ago. After a lot of searching on Amazon, I found the elago stylus. I picked the Hexa because I hate it when my stylus rolls away from me and I figured this one would stay put (it does). The Hexa has a nice weight to it and feels nice in the hand. It is unassuming (looks like a simple black pen) and the branding is simple and unobtrusive. The nib has a solid bump inside of it which is a vast improvement over the hollow-tipped cheap stylus I was using. The Hexa glides smoothly, almost sexily, across my iPad (I'm using an amFilm screen protector). It is quiet, and I can tell from some tests that note-taking will be a delight. Precision-wise it seems to be on par with the Jot Pro. I've already recommended it to a friend.

A solid, high quality stylus that still doesn't get it right...
This is a high quality stylus that still doesn't get it right. Don't get me wrong, Elago has produced a quality product that is much better in feel and build quality than the few other styli that I've used over the past few years, but it is still lacking in two critical areas: 1. The Hexa is too short, by about one inch. Elago has patterned this product off of a standard #2 pencil, but one that has been used for perhaps a week and has been "sharpened down" by an inch or two. Why do stylus manufacturers insist on stunting their stylus products? One thing that I've always found about #2 pencils is that they feel great when new and sharp, but as you continue to use the pencil with repeated sharpening, it loses that great "fresh" feel and begins to cramp my (large) hands. If the Hexa was simply one inch longer, retaining all other dimensions, it would feel more closely to that of a fresh #2 pencil; and that is a good thing. 2. The Hexa stylus, like so many of its competitors, lags when when writing. Unfortunately, I don't think that there is much that can be done in this department as this problem seems to be endemic with styli designed for use with capacitive discharge displays (I use an iPhone 6 Plus, but virtually any modern smartphone would use a similar display). When writing with the stylus, like most other styli, you must push down in an unnatural fashion to maximize contact with the display in order to get a natural flow on the screen. However, when pushing down on the flexible nib, the nib then warps and follows behind the body of the stylus, which makes for a decidedly unnatural writing experience. I think that the solution to this problem is found in the latest generation of styli that are Bluetooth enabled, and to which there is an application that knows how to fully leverage the connectivity and active tracking provided by the stylus. So, sure the Hexa is a beautiful, minimalistic, and well constructed stylus that does get the job done. But, I would prefer something that feels more closely to its #2 pencil analog, both in terms of in-hand feel as well as on-screen tracking. Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice at this point for an alternative stylus that meets these criteria.

Better with a clip?
It's OK, if its used at a workstation I guess, but if you use this on the move the lack of a clip makes it so easy to lose, but that won't blend with the 'old pencil' image, the tip has survived so far though

An extension of your body that you didnโt even knew you were missing!
I am a stickler for these kind of gadgets, but in no time got addicted to this bad boy. Feels even weird using my first on touch screens and how slow fingers are compared to this bad boy! Winner!
