Easy and Accurate Glucose Monitor
This glucose monitor is small and easy to read. It's accurate & easily draws the blood into it. You can have a 2nd chance if your drop of blood wasn't enough by adding more. It draws quickly & doesn't require a very large drop. It's more consistent than another monitor I'm using. I would buy it again & will continue to use this one and buy more test strips.

Fantastic!
Great product. Matches up to my Dexcom7 perfectly. Takes a teeny drop of blood too!

Great even for kids to use.
Bought this for my 12 year old daughter. Was very easy to set up and use. She learned it quick and was on her way. This set has everything you need to start checking your levels. Definitely recommend.

Opened box
Love this unit. My mom has used it forever. So I got one too. Only gripe I have is it arrived open. Someone broke into the box. It left several carriers along the way here. USPS delivered. Would of used fedex to skip this problem.

Fabulous
Great kit. Don't have a glucose issue, so this fits the bill when I check periodically.

Good quality beater for the money
This meter is approximately 99% accurate which is one of the closest meters you can purchase. The only one thing I don't like about it is it doesn't have a strip ejector. You have to pull the strip out of the meter by hand. Other than that, it's a great product.

DO NOT BUY DANGEROUS and BOGUS CUSTOMER SERVICE
This product is advertised as +-8% of a laboratory glucose test. According to customer service if it is within 60% of a laboratory test the unit is working as it should. I purchased this to supplement and occasionally calibrate my Dexcom G6. It has often been significantly higher than my Dexcom G6 so would calibrate accordingly. However, whenever I had laboratory work done the results would be significantly lower than the Contour Next One. Recently had another laboratory test and decided to check the Contour Next One. When compared to the laboratory test the Contour Next One read 30% higher. So I called customer service just to try and understand what was going on. They wanted to know serial numbers of product, strips, the control solution and corresponding lot numbers. Then wanted me to calibrate the unit using the control solution. When they did not like the result of the first test had me do a second and then a third. After 40 minutes doing everything they asked was told there was nothing wrong with the unit. So I asked them how do you explain being 30% off? No explanation just that the unit was working. Pretty obvious that despite the fact I had not asked for anything their main and only concern was having to replace a $10 unit. I finally gave up with them. I then researched other meters and found a 1917 study that had scientifically tested 18 different meters and the only one scoring 100% was a Contour Next, the previous model to the One and I had a supply of the strips. It was only $20 so bought one to compare to the One and my Dexcom G6. Turns out it is quite close to and tracks with the G6 while the One can be 30% higher than either of the other two. Meanwhile received phone messages from a Kimberly to please call a certain number which I did but no one had a clue what I was talking about. In fact it was a totally different department. Once they connected me with the correct department they still had no idea who Kimberly was or why she had called me but had all the information I had previously given them. Again I was NOT asking for anything just an understanding of what might be going on that the unit was so out of spec. I Told them I had purchased a Contour Next and it appeared to be working while the One did not. The rep proceeded to tell me multiple times that if the unit was within 60% of a lab test it was working properly. I argued that that made no sense and the FDA would never approve anything that would be so far off from a laboratory test but to no avail. No explanation why the two units were different and like the control solution tests wanted something different. I told them I did side by side test using strips from the same lot and blood from the same finger prick and he had the audacity to tell me that I had to do two different finger pricks for a test. Had I said that I used two finger pricks I am sure he would have told me that would be the cause of the error and I should have just used one. I finally gave up since everything seemed to revolve around absurd excuses and their only concern was not having to replace a unit even though I never asked or even cared about replacing a $10 unit just wanted to understand the discrepancies. So if you want accurate blood glucose measurements and value your health DO NOT BUY a Contour Next One.
