Q: Does this leave a sticky residue when removed?

It did not leave a sticky residue, however, it does not keep the strap I applied it to from sliding off my shoulder when wearing a jacket that has a nylon-type surface on it as it advertised that it would do.

Q: I have an ameribag which can be used as on a shoulder or across the body. will the strap gummy come off if i adjust the strap after i've applied it?

I attached mine on the shoulder pad which slides along the shoulder strap, so no problem in my case.
