Reliable, Light Weight
This nail gun works very well. It is light weight and shoots both wire and plastic collated nails. Also like the hook on it so that I can attach to my tool belt. So far the gun has been reliable.

Never again!
I purchased based this tool and it worked great, right up until it didn't! I wish I could still return it and buy a second Metabo HPT. The driver quit returning? I used it for 1/2 of one small house! $369 in the trash!

Great nailer
I’ve found this nailer useful for siding, some fencing, sheathing repair, and ended up using it for trimming our chicken coop. I used Bostitch thick-coat ring shank nails and have yet to have a misfire. The depth control was easy to use. This size nailer really sits between a framer and a roofing nailer. I’m sure it’ll see a lot of use and last quite a while (home/property use).

Buy a different brand, THIS NAILER SUCKS!!!
I would not recommend purchasing this nailer. I bought this last year in anticipation of a future project that I just started on. As other reviewers have noted, the nailer fails to advance to the next nail every 2 to 3 fires. This is exceptionally frustrating under any circumstance but especially so when working overhead. I could not be more disappointed with the performance of this tool. Makita should be absolutely ashamed to have their name attached to this. I have both a Makita compressor and track saw that I’m very pleased with. I recently reached out to Makita regarding my issue and simply got a cookie cutter email back about taking the tool to an authorized service center for repair. The tool is clearly defective and yet they want me to pay to have it fixed 🤪😆🤦🏻♂️. Please avoid purchasing this nailer. Honestly, You will be much better off buying any other nailer instead of wasting $300 on this one.

Best fencing nailer
This is by far the best fencing nail gun I’ve used. It’s the only one that can fire as fast as I can out pickets up and rarely jams because it can keep up.
