Maytag Dryer repair
These parts were good and correct to repair my Moms Maytag Performa dryer (model is from 2003 timeframe). There is a great Youtube video detailing the process - that made servicing quite easy. The ID of the two different High Temp fuses could have been better - a small paint mark was a bit different than documented. One is for Gas model - one for Electric.This comment is not the fault of these parts - but the dryer fuse tripped again - It appears the vent line is clogged with lint causing it to overheat. Step two - get a long reach flexible brush and a leaf blower and a shop-vac to clear it out.Edit: If you are reading this far - you have a dryer that isnt working - in my case it was not the vent line - it was lint clogging the dryer internal airduct assembly. Remove dryer top and front to access the plastic manifold - slide it out of the guide at the bottom, and lift up to reveal the extent of lint buildup. The lint screen evidently does not work that well, the dryer needs to breathe. Cleaning it all out (quite a mess) fixed it - and the new thermal fuses work great.

DId not last
Didnt last a month! Another one prior to this one (different seller) only made it a year. Had to order another one from different seller. Another thing frustrating, directions mention one thermal unit with pink dot, the other with blue dot. Huh? The ones i got in the box have red dot and green dot. Parts dont match directions. Confusing!
