Has a very slight smell but barely noticeable (not bad though). As for making wet shaving a breeze, it exceeded my expectations and helps getting a VERY smooth shave all over my head. Works beautifully with a head shaver. Huge tub as well so one will last for a long time. This was a great buy.

I have been "wet shaving" for about 15 years now. I enjoy it, and it's nice when you can take a daily chore and turn it into a hobby that you enjoy doing.I also enjoy most every Clubman product I have tried. They are a good value and I like their classic scents and performance.As someone who likes building a lather to shave with, this stuff was not what I expected. I'll try any Clubman product, so when I saw one that I hadn't tried, I ordered it without hesitation.When it arrived, the tub was larger than I expected. The consistency is more like a lotion or a preshave. This is a brushless cream, meant to be massaged into your face and beard with your hands. The scent is a mild, classic barbershop scent, which I absolutely love. A big part of the traditional shaving appeal is nostalgia, and the scent of this cream put me right back in the chair at The Spanish Clipper, the barbershop I went to as a kid, that used and sold Clubman products exclusively.For the best shave of your life, here is what to do: while in the shower, rub some Noxzema into your beard. I do this first, so the steam and moisture can react with the Noxzema. After you shower, rub the Clubman cream on top of the Noxzema, massaging a liberal amount into the beard. This will produce the slickest shave you have ever experienced. Personally, I do two passes. For my 2nd pass, I put the Clubman cream straight onto my face, without the Noxzema, and massage it in.I'm not sure when I will take the time to build another lather, but right now I am really relishing this cream. In fact, I have already ordered another tub, so I can be sure to never run out.You may be thinking this is a five star review, but I am of the opinion that nothing is perfect. The only negative about the Clubman shaving cream is, like others have said, it is very thin. It will run down your chin and onto the counter and your shirt, if you use too much, or use too much water. Other than that, this is my favorite brushless cream yet.

Why am I just now discovering this cream? It is wonderful! Goodbye razor burn, hello to the most comfortable shave I've ever had. I'll never use the foaming stuff by the big names again!

While this shaving cream has a great "Clubman" scent, it is more like a "lotion" than a cream.I tried various ways of using it, with each way I got razor burn, the worst razor burn I had in a very long time. I have used Proraso, Sterling Shaving Soap, Cella, Colonel Cronk, and Taylor of Old Bond Street. All these were okay to great. The Clubman Shaving Cream is the worse I have ever used.No matter how I tried it was a drippy mess.While the price is cheap, so is the shaving creamI donated it to my local barber shop, to see if they could use it.It is Definitely Not for everybody, it's not for me.

I wanted to like this product more but I am a barber by trade and this was not as good as I needed it to be for shaves. The product is a lotion type consistence, not thick at all. I have a lot of clients with thick facial hair and this did not soften the hairs like I needed it to. I think it is more for after a shave than to use during a shave or only if you have finer hair, not medium or coarse

I am a Clubman fan from way back and have a number of there aftershaves, hair gel and talc. Always happy with them. Thought I'd try their shave cream after reading the positive reviews.Been using it a couple of weeks now and I'm really liking it. Yes, you have to get over the fact that does not lather up like traditional products. In fact, it doesn't lather up at all, but once you understand that it's a CREAM, all is well.I prep my beard with a hot towel and some oil before putting this cream on my wet face with my finger tips. A little goes a long way, but I'm still pretty liberal putting it on. I shave with a twin blade set up from Harry's and the cream provides a nice lubrication and glide. I rewet as needed and leave the remaining cream on my face after I'm done shaving. (As the directions suggest). It acts as a moisturizer and after shave balm. Make my face feel smooth and hydrated. Pat dry and I'm all set.Wife loves the smell and it has that fresh-out-of-the-barbershop ambiance that I like. It comes in a big 16oz jar that makes this product a great value for the money.Another great Clubman product with no complaints here. Two thumbs up! 👍👍(Did I say it's a CREAM and doesn't foam up? Wow. Aside from something similar that I found 30 years ago, this is the best shaving cream type of product that I have ever used. Clean scent, just a slight hint of Clubman scent with the rest being kinda citrusy. This will not foam. Just a dab will do you. If you are an old school shaving fanatic this is not your product, no brushing, lather, oil, nor heat involved. Just dab a little bit on, and shave. Also, no need for moisturizer after shaving. I have tried dozens of other soaps, lotions, and creams, this is the best. Should be a great value, as it id a lot of product and you use just a tad. The price is quite high on Amazon, but the shipping is free. It is cheaper direct from Clubman, but last time I checked you had to order more than $35 to get free shipping. Maybe the price will come down a bit in the future, here on Amazon.I use this product with a Feather All-Stainless razor, and Personna made in the USA blades. I have tried at least a dozen razors, and more than 20 different blades. This is the best trifecta combination that I have used. YMMV.

Ah, ya entendí el comentario que leí con respecto a que el producto es malísimo. Lo que pasa es que no produce NADA de espuma, absolutamente nada. A favor del producto, debo decir que efectivamente, es muuuuy bueno para lubricar el paso de la navaja y su olor me pareció adecuado, quiero decir que no dura mucho tiempo pues no se trata de una colonia, y es tan bueno o mejor que muchos más costosos. Para aquellos que buscan una crema de afeitar que produzca mucha espuma, absténganse de adquirir ésta porque los va a decepcionar. Si en cambio, buscan una que ayude a rasurarse fácilmente, sin producir cortadas indeseadas ni irritación, adquiéranla y verán que quedarán muy satisfechos.Sin duda la volveré a comprar pues su relación de costo/beneficio, es inmejorable.

Excelente auxiliar. Lo aplico y uso jabón encima con excelente resultado. Evita la resequedad y facilita la rasurada.

Las imágenes que acompañan el producto dan a entender que es algo totalmente diferente. El precio de compra fue de $210.00; al precio de hoy no la volvería a comprar. Funciona sabiéndola usar, aplicándola sobre el rostro húmedo y manteniéndolo así con una buena capa de producto. No es apta para un uso con rastrillos de cartucho tipo Gillette. Con máquinas Double Edge Safety Razor ayuda a no tener que calmar la irritación provocada por otro tipo de productos, ya sea por el tipo de piel o nivel de protección del mismo para evitar el daño a la piel.

This was the second time I had gotten this product, the first time I got this product it was great. However, in this second batch (second time i had gotten it) it was so runny it just made a mess trying to use. I do like that the ingredients are very simple but due to how watery it was on the second batch I will not buy again.

Lo he usado desde hace varios años y es mucho mejor que cualquier otro producto que haya usado antes mucho mejor que las espumas y geles para rasurar ya que no irrita la piel
