Fresh Fever From the Skies: The Collected Writings of IAO131

I was actually really impressed with the quality of the works in this book, especially for a print-on-demand book. The illustrations are also excellent and clear compared to the quality of images I've seen in other print-on-demand works.

I think that, many times, Crowley was either trying to impress his readers with his esoteric knowledge, or simply forgot that most of those following the path of the Great Work were still LEARNING, and not experts in Qabalah/Gematria/etc...so it is very easy for those who are truly interested in Thelema to simply 'give up' due to being disheartened by reading his books/letters.Along comes IAO131, who is known on the Thelema Subreddit as a prolific poster of good information, and shines a light on many of the common and uncommon aspects of Thelemic practice.I ended up reading this book cover to cover (over 700 pages), and found that the author's style of writing and explanations of Thelemic theory and practice are the PERFECT companion to Crowley's works.This book does NOT supplant the source material; every traveler on the path of their True Will should read Crowley's work, and read it multiple times over the course of their journey....I've found that I am able to now understand and retain more of the writings thanks to the hard work of IAO131.Also, check out this author's videos on Youtube (Thelemic Union...I think they're called?). A great companion to the book!Love is the law, love under Will.

I have loved nearly everything written by IAO131 and this book is no exception. If you are new to thelema and need some help decoding Crowley's symbolism or want a beginner-friendly introduction to thelemic philosophy, this is the best I've read. This book has extensive footnotes and references for the studious thelemite so that you can refer to the referenced texts for further context.HIGHLY recommend!

Great book for someone just starting their path with Thelema. Well written and easy to understand but packed full of tons of valuable information.

I would recommend this book for beginners. In fact, I would recommend anyone who is curious about Thelema to read this book FIRST. It is exceedingly well-written,well-organized and is very easy to understand. While this is a thick book, it reads very fast. I absolutely LOVE this book!

Makes zero sense

Frater IAO lucidly expounds the Thelemic tradition for the modern practitioner. Not only is this book well written, there is nothing like it on the market. After I studied the A∴A∴ Student Curriculum for a year, I can also see how Fresh Fever could help a student toward a synthesis of Crowley's corpus.Besides, if this book doesn't make you laugh into your elfin-beard, I don't know what will.

"Do what you wilt shall be the whole of the law" - As I decided to follow the Magick for beginners course hold on line by the author, I wanted to know a little bit more about him, Thelema and his relation with this mysterious religion. The writing is intelligible - even for a French reader like me - and the ideas are so profound ! This book is a revolution for the mind and, most of all, for the Self. The author seems respectful for Crowley and you can see he knows his subject like the back of one's hand - and even more ! He is very cultured, benevolent, very encouraging and he helps you to feel free of any uncalled-for guilt. This book is not just a handbook for Thelema followers, it's A CURE ! THAN YOU SO, SO MUCH. Love is the law, love under will.

I read a few Crowley and LMD books but always knew I needed one like this. Glad to know I found what I was looking for in this book.
