I would say you are correct on that. These coins look great! I would certainly recommend them to other magicians.

Q: What are the name of the tricks you can do with the coins.

There are literally hundreds of tricks you can do and that's not even ones where you can use the fact that the coins are magnetic. Get JB Bobo's or David Roth's books for normal coin work and research PK Ring and coin effects. I'm currently doing one by David Roth called Winged Silver and some other appearances and vanishes.

Q: Can they be used with expanded shells?

I don't use expanded shells myself. But these silver dollar facsimiles are standard size so if you're expanded shell is large enough to fit standard size silver dollars they will work with your shells.
