I'm 5 9, tall, size 16 and bought a second pair of these fleece leggings for a trip to Antarctica. They were pretty much the only pants I wore for 3 weeks. Sooo comfortable, warm, long, thickness, and just the right amount of stretch. I wore them on the ship and out on expeditions, under waterproof pants. Temps ranged from 17 to 55 degrees and i was warm. I do live in Maine half the year so I may tolerate heat more than others, but these leggings were great. Love the pockets as well. They held up very well. Great quality. Highly recommend

Purchased these for an upcoming cruise to Alaska. I sometimes find Amazon clothing sizes to be hit or miss. When I purchased the first pair, I ordered the XXL in regular length. They were too big all over and way too long. For reference, I am 5'0, wear a 14/16 in Jeans and carry the majority of my weight in hips, butt, and thighs. Then I purchased an XL regular in length and they fit better, but were still too long. Evidently, I don't know squat about inseam and was concerned the petite would be too short. Settled on the XL petite and they fit perfectly! Wound up buying two pair and am looking forward to wearing them on the cruise. I love that these have pockets and they are very flattering on.Wanted to add, I am back from my trip to Alaska and ordered two more pairs of these pants while sitting in the airport waiting to fly home. They are so comfortable and kept me warm, but not overly hot. I wore these leggings to all our excursions, whale watching, train ride through White pass, a boat trip to another island, and just hanging out on the cruise. I am normally not a legging person, but these are so soft, flattering, and easy to wear I never wore any of the jeans packed. I will add at 5'0 tall, even the petite were a hair long. I just folded a bit of "cuff" at the bottom and kept going. The length did not bother me at all, because they feel so good on.

Got these as a gift for my mom who is going on an Alaskan cruise. She is always cold so I wanted to get her thicker pants, but something also fashionable and comfortable for walking. She loves the fit and not too thick.

Update for the PETITE length pants:I was SO excited to see my favorite winter pants now came in petite length! Alas they are not the same so I had to take a star off my former 5-star review. While the style is the same and they do fit better lengthwise (no bagging at the knees), the material is noticeably cheaper/thinner -and- the waist rolls at the top. My regular length pants have a BALEAF label, small logo and a zippered pocket in the waist. The petite version was missing all of these. Definitely disappointed.Here is my original review for the REGULAR length pantsVertically challenged, I typically only buy bottoms that come in petite lengths but couldn't resist giving these a try based on reviews. I also sized up for comfort (sometimes have to do with less expensive brands). When I first tried these on, the pants looked horrible - bunched up all over. I should've hemmed them but found that the ankles are fitted enough that I can fold them up tucked under and it stays up. With that and wear, the wrinkles relaxed enough so I have no problems wearing the out when running errands or casual meet-ups with friends.These are now a go-to staple in my winter wardrobe. Warm, comfortable, well-priced and has pockets (deep enough to slip my phone into)! They are slimming and look nicer on me than exercise or sweat pants. They are more comfortable/easier to put on than jeans and pair perfectly with long sweaters/sweatshirts (just like my petite size leggings which fit nicer but lack the warmth and pockets).This is my second winter season practically living in these pants on days I don't have to go into the office (I now own 5 pairs - 4 in black). They've held up great (I've only cold wash and hung dry).

Comfortable and flattering fit even with the added fleece lining that keeps you warm. Love that they are petite size! The length is perfect and proportioned. Nice to wear when the weather is cooler and regular leggings don't keep the cold out. I also like the quality. Good construction. I liked them enough to buy a second pair.

For reference, I’m 5’6” @ 140# and purchased a M in army green 27” inseam. These leggings fit great are amazingly soft. They’re fleece lined and warm. I actually wore them today in 80 degree weather (started off 40* chillier this morning) and I was still very comfy into the afternoon with no sweating/stains. They seem to wick away moisture. They are also water resistant… however I haven’t tested the waterPROOFness of them. They’re not too thick and can be worn under jeans. 2 pockets on the sides and one zippered at the lower back. They also fit appropriately in the crotch area without revealing any ‘lane splits’. I highly recommend them.
