Vogue Fabrics Serger Cone Thread - 4000 yds White 651

The thread is quite strong. I'm happily surprised at the value. Mine had some brown smudges on the thread UNDER the wrapping when I opened it, but it was only on the very first layer of thread so no big deal. it is a large cone and does not fit on many home sewing machines. if you don't have a holder you can place the cone inside a coffee mug next to your machine propped up on a box and it'll work just fine! I took one star away because it is quite linty and requires you to clean the machine more than I'd prefer, but for the value, I would buy it again.

This thread is from China. This is not a true white, especially when compared to other brands I have on hand. When inspected closely there is also much more fraying of fibers than other brands I have on hand.Be careful, if you are thinking you are getting 4000 yards because the inner spool is much larger in diameter on the top than other spools I have from various companies and appears larger than the product photo. If you read the description carefully, which I did not do and relied more on the reviews, the description states clearly approximately 4000 yards. That statement gets them off of the hook. However, please note that this is an observation and I can not really tell how much thread is on the spool.Additionally, there is so much lint and debris under the shrink wrap that you will have to remove a layer before you get to clean thread. The thread is not very strong and breaks fairly easily, so definitely don't buy if your machine has tension issues with low quality thread. I'm not going to test this on the machine because I actually made a mistake, fortunately in my favor, by only ordering one spool instead of the four I thought I ordered. If I would have seen the thread in person I would have never purchased it in the first place.

Thread is not good in areas. Keeps breaking. But I am using it anyway. Don't think price should have been what it was since this instance is happening. I don't like to order and item and pay a high price for shipping and find out the that the item is not of good quality.

The quality of this thread was very good. You save so much when you don't have to buy the small spools and you never run out in the middle of a project. You do have to invest in a tall spool holder to use with this size of spool. I will buy more colors. I just wish that there was a deal for shipping many spools together at a cheaper price.

I bought this thread for my new serger, which was shredding all of the cheaper quality threads into a big fluf ball in the lower compartment of the serger causing many breakages and frustrating days, and I have been very happy with the quality of this product. I have already sewed many projects with it and will sew many more! Very good bargain for the price!

Whoa awesome price great deal! I was worried this wouldn't fit my seger but it does!!! With still room to spare! Absolutely will be purchasing other colors !!! So happy with my purchase! Shipping wasn't extremely quick but it came pretty fast if that makes any sense (:

The thread was of the quality as I had expected. Works beautifully on my serger! I had no problems with it at all.

I do like this thread but it is much too expensive when you are in business and cost matters Sorry
