Great price! So far so good!
The media could not be loaded. Installed on 2002 GM 350 small block. From the video...she fires right up now and isn't struggling when the old starter was about to die. Install qas about 20 min compared to about an hour taking the old starter off. A few comments...1. It is a lot smaller than the old starter. Be assured it will fit as long as you selected starter with same bolt pattern. I noticed there is a small gap between the flywheel cover and where the new starter now resides. Oh well...time will tell how that turns out.2. The new (longer) inside bolt closest to the oil pan has a 13mm bolt head!!!! Hallelujah!!! That 9/16 bolt you spent an hour wrestling with to take off should be about 10 min putting it back on. Life is that much easier!3. Use the shims. Don't doubt....just do it.4. The starter looks to be painted an epoxy type coating. I dont know if this truly qualifies it as "marine quality" but again, time will tell.So far so good. For the price I am hoping it will last longer than is being reported. I'll update if that day comes when it dies on me. Thinking about buying a spare for "just in case" situation. If this review is still up without an update, I'm still a happy camper!Enjoy!

Crap Chinese built part
Bought for 4cyl Mercruiser. Occasional starting problems after 3mo. Failed within 6 months. After reading reviews and cking the BBB ...didn't even bother to try fighting them for a 70 something dollar return. Just bought a Quicksilver and ZERO problems since. Please don't waste your time on these products, you'll just be frustrated, and after reading their BBB replies, have to deal with exceedingly poor customer service. also...1 star only because Amazon wont let you give less...

Faulty Rebuild
Started my boat about 5 times, now it does not operate properly. Mechanic said it was a faulty starter. I told him it was newly installed, further inspection found it was a poor rebuild.
