This comes in handy for carrying those extra small items I like to take with me. As noted by others you do not need the double sided tape on the back. Nor can you use the tape if you have a second tray under the arm rest. This must be removed to further obtain items under the second installed tray. After I easily removed the tape on the back of this unit I sprayed two layers of Flex Seal on the back thus giving a rubber backing to prevent any scratches to the center console. Caution if you use Flex Seal you must follow the directions closely. I have been using it many times over the years for different projects and you could easily over spray the sealant. I highly recommend this item for purchase.

After reading many reviews I almost did not purchase. I needed the storage being a Jeep but had already purchased the Internal Armrest Organizer (also a great product). They some were saying this could not be used if you had that product already. That is incorrect. But you can't use the tape on the back of the hanging storage box if you have the Organizer, which I never intended to use in the first place. I am not fond of getting sticky glue all over the jeep. Even the best tape in the world would only last a few days in the summer heat inside of a locked car/jeep. Without the tape the hanging storage box is very very stable. I am not sure why they added it ?? You install this on top of the tray, that is: you put the tray in first and then this storage box. Works great. Factory storage door closes well, don't even notice it. And it will hold a iPhone14 or probably any cell phone quite well.

this fits well, but I wish they had widened it. Perhaps another inch you can fit perhaps a cell phone and that’s it. Nothing else will fit other than that. It needs to be an inch to 2 inches thicker

I didn't fit as it should, as my gear shift area is not flat as the product is, so what's a couple bolts ? It's a Jeep, so it adds character . I love it.

Fits like a glove, you don't even have to use the double-sided tape, snug fit. Finish matches the OEM plastic of the Jeep (2023 Sport Altitude).
