Crap
Not for use with chalk markers, liquid just seeps in. Not erasable with chalk markers. Cracked surface instead of smooth. Product could definitely be better.

Cut and crafty
Just as pictured, actually bigger than I thought. The ropes was not already attached so I just pulled it through and ties it very simple. (I'm sure there are fancier ways but this worked perfect for our purpose)It seems very sturdy. We wrote on it with regular chalk so we did not try chalk markers on it. And the black part you write on seems to need just painted wood so I don't think chalk markers would actually come off.Definitely worth the money and a cute addition to a gift or any craft project.

Good little board
Great product to use, light for little hands. We use it during Sesame Street every day.

Not actually a chalkboard
I should have read the reviews. My bad. Maybe it's okay for crafting purposes when you only change the sign once a month, but it's definitely not old school- write, wipe, write, wipe sort of thing.
