Wireless charging on a budget
I got a new Samsung Note 3 a few weeks ago, and I was excited about the possibility of wireless charging. I ordered an OEM battery cover direct from Samsung w/ a coupon I received upon registering the phone, and all I needed was a wireless charging pad and figured I'd give this one a shot (at $20, why not?).Received the charging pad before I received the battery cover from Samsung, so I had to just look at it for a couple of days. It's attractive enough, but wasn't really doing much for me just sitting on my coffee table. Anywho. The battery cover finally came in and I got everything hooked up. The first beep I heard when I placed my phone on the charging pad was music to my ears! No longer will I get scratched near the charging port of my phone from trying to plug it in to charge when half asleep (or stumbling drunk?! ;))! The charger has worked like a champ for the past few weeks that I've been using it. I did have to shave some of the casing off around the micro usb port on the charger so that my old blackberry charger would fit snugly enough and not keep falling out. It was easy enough to do and took all of three minutes.Pros: Cheap. Works. Fast shipping.Cons: Had to alter the casing, have to make sure it's centered on the phone to charge.

Works just fine with the Nexus devices in thick cases
My wife got me the Google Nexus wireless charger for my birthday. I was chagrined to see that it did not work with my Nexus 5 with the E LV hybrid armor case, nor with my 2013 Nexus 7 with a folding leather case. The transmission distance was too short to charge through the cases. I read a lot of reviews on these chargers, and noted that this model has one of the higher transmission distances at 10 mm. I am pleased to report that both Nexus devices charge just fine through their cases. The charger is a whisper slower than using the direct plug to charge. Like others have mentioned, you have to be sure to find the sweet spot allowing it to charge. So if you have a device in a thick case and don't want to have to remove the case to wirelessly charge it, this may meet your needs.

It's nice - could be a little better, but it's nice
Love the idea of wireless charging! For the most part it works pretty good.Pros:- It costs less than OEM or other brand name equipment- It charges wirelessly- It beeps once to let you know that it's charging your phone- It beeps a couple of times to let you know that it's NOT charging- It charges through my TPU/TPE caseCons:- It can be a bit picky on placement; probably 50% of the time i have to make minor adjustments for it to charge- It will sometimes randomly beep even though it's charging- It does not come with a wall charger/plug- The instructions are obviously not written by an "English" major (but who needs instructions anyway)Overall, I'd recommend it mainly because of the price point. But if you want to just be able to drop it and forget it, you might want to look at the bigger OEM chargers.

Perfect.. Once I disabled the buzzer
This charger works perfectly once I disabled the buzzer, which is simple. For some reason, it would beep randomly for minutes at a time and then stop. I tried my Nexus 5 with no case and perfectly centered on the PowerBot but it kept triggering the alarm randomly. Once I removed the buzzer diaphragm I checked my phone and it will charge without any disconnects. I think my buzzer may have been defective, but the fix was easy.

not great, hard to find the right placement. unpredictable.
very hard to find the right placement on this pad. My wife tried it for a few weeks and gave up because once in a while, it wouldn't charge even though she thought it was in the right spot. So after several hours, she found it wasn't charging at all.The nexus charge orb is way better.

overall awesome.
great overall, only one minor complaint. the surface should be a lot bigger.it's sometimes hard to get it onto the right spot. not really a big deal though.i really prefer this to plugging in a micro usb cable. feel like that port is probably made cheap and i don't wanna mess with it more than i have to.

Pleasantly suprised!
My phone's charging port is damaged so wireless is a must. Couldnt afford another more expensive charger so I thought I'd give this a try. Boy was I pleasantly suprised. It works like a charm! And I only paid $20 for it. Immediately purchased another. Like the size and the gripper rings on top and bottom. Never had a problem...just lay phone on and it does its thing and fairly fast too.

Great affordable alternative
I was skeptical to believe I could get a well built Qi charger for $20, but was left pleasantly surprised. Build quality is good, design is attractive, but most of all it works flawlessly. I have a Droid Maxx with a case and as long as you set it close to the middle you are in business. Yes, you can disable the beep, but I find it kind of charming. I use it at my desk at work and nobody even bats an eyelash at the beep, they all just want to know where they can get one!
