I actually ordered this cable twice. The first time, the post office had some difficulty getting it to my door it seems. Two weeks after it was shipped, the tracking data showed that the package was being returned to sender as it could not be delivered. Not the sellers fault, but annoying nonetheless. I put in a second order. This time, the package arrived in 2 days (I have prime membership). Great! On first look, the cable looked very high quality. Thick, very thick... it's about the thickness of a typical mouse cable (roughly 3 times thicker than your typical headphone cable). The end fittings looked clean, sharp. I was happy up until I actually used it. The right channel kept cutting out until I bent the cable near the head and held it in a very specific orientation. I tried it in my netbook first, then my ipod, then desktop, all with the same results. So I'm fairly certain it isn't the head design. Which leads me to believe it's the connection between the internal copper wire and the head that's messed up.To be honest, I'm very surprised a cable that from outward appearance is so robustly built to exhibit defects that you'd only expect to see in a cable bought from the $0.99 store. I returned the faulty cable for a refund. I'm considering making a 3rd order and just chalking up the last defective cable to bad luck but I'm hesitant...***************************************************************************************************************************Update - Sept 16, 2011I initially rated this product 1 star, primarily because the one I received was not fully functional. I have to say, I've since completely reversed my rating.A few days after I posted my review, a service agent from Mediabridge contacted me via email. This is the first time a company has ever contacted me on a product issue first and not the other way around. Wow! Jarrod was very courteous, responded promptly to my return emails, and took the initiative to resolve my problem without me ever having to ask. Simply outstanding service. You just don't see that level of service these days. So the replacement cable arrived yesterday and I've been putting it through some rigorous testing. Sound quality is top shelf, noticeably better than my old ones from BestBuy. I'm very happy with the performance of this cable and more so, tremendously happy with quality of service I received. I would not hesitant for a second to purchase another Mediabridge product. Quality equipment, affordably priced, and the best service I've ever experienced. Can't say enough about that last point!

I've gone through MANY stereo audio cables in the last year when I installed an AUX input into my 2004 Acura TL (later model years had it come standard, mine didn't). Every single time I used another audio cable, the connector was a 90 degree connection, the plug wasn't offset enough to not get pushed out by my HTC Thunderbolt's Sylicryllic case, the stereo connector would only give one channel of sound, or the cord was so thin that it would either melt in the summer heat in my car (my car is black, and I'm in Utah, where it reaches over 100 degrees on a regular basis) or the cord would get worn out after a few uses.I don't abuse my cords, by any means, but I needed something up to the challenge. This was my last shot, and thus far I haven't been disappointed.The cord itself is nice and thick- just what you want to prevent tangling, kinks in the cord from affecting audio quality, and it's plenty long for my use, especially since installing the AUX input in my TL meant snaking it through compartments for quite a distance. The jack itself is fantastic- it is long enough to provide a snug fit into the jack, but offset enough so the case on my phone doesn't interfere with its connection. On other cables, the headphone jack itself would become bent out of shape, which was the most disappointing thing of all. Not an issue with this cable.This is THE cord to buy if you're looking to do something like I did. It's so good, in fact, that I bought two in case I ever need to switch it out or do it to someone else's car. For the price you pay, you really can't beat it, and this is coming from someone who has purchased almost every other comparable cable on Amazon and other websites.

Ive purchased this cable several times now. I like pretty much everything about it for the price. The sound quality is clean. The build quality seems excellent, with supple pvc cable and ends that give that nice reassuring click when connected. I prefer cables with a little "beef" to them thickness-wise, and Mediabridge cable always feel substantial.

Bought it at an absurd discount of 70% , many thanks to Amazon !After reading up on the benefits of using quality of wires , I was skeptical if these would make any difference to my set up,but they actually did.I use the Fiio X5 2nd Gen as my source, and connect them to an average speaker set.There is certainly a good improvement in sound quality from the average connectors that I used before.In fact, for DSD and high quality flac content there is a significant improvement in clarity and depth.Bass is better, Treble is clearer and the sound has depth.These wires work well for me and I would suggest others to buy them.But @1700 these are way too expensive, at a discounted rate, these are really really great.
