Saved my lamp
This works great for a floor lamp I have where a crimp in the line caused it to stop working. I actually like the switch better as the other was a foot pedal and was hard to reach. I was getting ready to take this to a shop for repair when I decided to give the repair a go myself. It was easy and It definitely saved me money. The cord available in brown is camouflaged by my wood like vinyl flooring which was a plus for me.

Replaced worm cable on favorite lamp. Works as should.

Did the trick.
Used it to rewire an older Mission style lamp that had shorted out. Worked great. For my application, I would have preferred that the rotary switch had been a bit further down the cord, closer to the plug end, but the lamp now works.

Switch is too close to end of wire.
This would have been great with the in-line switch would have been farther away from the ends needed to do the rewiring.

The original cord can be replaced with a switch in it.
Got it quickly and it works great!
