My nephew loves these! Everything mickey, perfect size for toddler hands!

My kids love reading these books. They are 2 and 3 years old so the small books help teach them to read and learn their site words early on.

Pro's - - great for my 1 year old to hold - she loves "reading" them and mostly flipping the pages - biggest win for us: they are small (about the size of the palm of your hand), but she loves reading and likes to have books in her crib (so she can read them before she falls asleep and when she wakes up). These books are the perfect size for this, because she tends to roll over the bigger books when she sleeps and it wakes her up and upsets her for a minute. With these, I can stick them in between her crib mattress and back of crib, and she can get them out when she wakes up. She doesn't chew on them (but our dogs do and can pretty quickly tear them up), so I wouldn't recommend putting the in their crib if they chew on them. They come apart/tear off easier than other board books we have. Con's - Story is too complicated for a 1 year old. When I read "my first library", I expected it to be geared toward the littlest kids learning their first words. I expected more of a flashcard type book especially since the books are so small, I thought it would be perfect to draw her attention to the right color/word/whatever. My daughter likes them but missed opportunity there... *but if you are looking for very simple flashcard-type books, Target has some for the bathtub that are about 5 pages, that are very simple/straightforward and reviews colors and numbers.

I bought these for our 2 and a half year old Grandson. The small carrying case (with a cute carry handle) for these mini-hard covered books is wonderful! He loves to not only take each book out at look at the sweet pictures, he also enjoys playing with them like blocks! He counts each book as he's putting them back in the carrying case and simply loves these mini books/blocks! They're also quite durable and not easy to tear! I've read other reviews complaining about how the words in these books don't make sense - well I say these are "play books and blocks," not so much reading- the pictures are so cute and bright! I couldn't recommend these any higher!

Absolutely love these. Got these for my 2 yr old. They are the perfect size for toddlers' hands and have vibrant pictures, all while teaching basics! The pages are thick and sturdy. The carrying case is an awesome bonus. These books went through a lot of toddler abuse before we finally outgrew them. Great purchase.

These little books are fantastic. My grand daughter loved them. They are just the right size for her little hands.

I bought the books for the bilingual education of an Italian toddler: I had expected better texts. I unfortunately will not take great advantages for my purpose. The material and the graphic of the mini-books is indeed top-quality.
