This is the best Holy Basil I have ever encountered - deep, woody, divine x

The bottle looks and feels like the normal and all other essential oils. It has a plastic cap and when you open it you see a stopper which you need to replace with a dropper to start using it. The dropper has the air vent to pour the oil in drops. The dropper is not at its best doing the job. It pours like a stream when you invert it. So better be cautious while pouring it.Coming to the oil I would say it its strength is between medium and strong. The tulsi oil has lots of benefits and could be used in various applications based on the need. I use this as in a diffuser and I feel bit nice and relaxing with the fragrance and the refresh it gives to mind.Pros- Therapeutic Grade oil- Nice and feel good fragrance- Multiple applicationsCons- No child saftey capThis is a very good essential oil if you really know the benefits and the applicationsYou could just searh the web for its applications for various purposes and buy if you find it appropriate and could afford it as I feel it is expensive

I'm familiar with Tulsi Tea and have drunk it for many years (it's delicious) but i've never tried the essential oil before so i was pleased to have this opportunity to trial this oil.The little bottle comes packaged in the standard essential oil box. It supplied with a stopper which you have to remove and replace with the dropper insert provided. I wasn't impressed with the dropper at all. Essential oil are dispensed in drops because they are highly potent. Unfortunately nothing came out for ages then just ran out in a steady stream. I've deducted a star for this reason.On to the oil itself. Tulsi or Holy Basil smells incredible. I've grown it in my polytunnel and can attest that this oil smells identical and just as delicious. Don't confuse this with your regular basil. It is entirely different.It's known as the queen of herbs and is said to have many beneficial properties which i recommend reading up on before use. Remember that as an essential oil it does need to be diluted before use. It's also good practice to do a patch test for safety.I simply put a few drops in a roller ball bottle with a little argan oil and plan to use as a light skin oil. It is highly pleasant and for me it has to be the human version of catnip. I can't get enough.To my nose the quality of this oil seems good and smells as it should.

I had not tried tulsi, or holy basil before, though I had heard very good things about it. First of all, the essential oil comes boxed, with a pipette top for ease of measuring. I tested it by putting a few drops in my steamer, diluted in water. This gave rise to a fragrant odour which was faintly similar to ordinary basil. Then later, I put some into a base oil, and applied it to my legs and feet. There were no abreactions, the effect was very uplifting, and it does promote a sense of wellbeing. I have not tested any of its other capacities, but I am quite impressed with the results so far. The oil has a faint green tinge to it, and the scent is fresh, green, very subtle and clean. I am glad I have this, as it's a useful addition to my aromatherapy studies.

This Greenwood Holy Basil Essential Oil is truly excellent quality. The oil is presented in Greenwood's standard dark glass bottle with a dropper dispenser. The scent of the oil is a little sharp, quite Mediterranean hillside, and very refreshing.I have used this basil oil blended with Greenwood's rosemary essential oil as a treatment for skin tags and it has worked very well for me. It's also very good in an oil burner against depression and for chest complaints. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this oil and recommend it.

A small bottle of essential oil which smells not dissimilar to cloves to my mind.The bottle comes with a bung closure for transit, but a dropper attachment is in the box, this is vital to use as it stops the oil pouring freely if a little one decides to taste it ( drinking essential oils can cause serious harm) and because it doesn’t have a childproof top the bottle can be opened easily.It needs to be diluted properly with a carrier oil if you want to apply to skin or hair but I am using it as a natural scent in my reed diffuser ( no children or pets in the home) and it is working well in this capacity

Do your research and you'll find this can be a very useful oil To add to your collection. It's nice and fluid and packaged well and I feel represents good value. Easy to use.

I love basil and holy basil they are some of my favourite herbs. This doesn't smell as fresh as the herb it is quite pleasant but quite a strong aroma so a little is all that is needed.Holy basil is an adaptogenic which means herb which means that it helps boost the body’s resilience in dealing with stress.It is also felt to have anti-aging properties. This is an essential oil and should be diluted ina carrier oil before being applied to your skin. You can also add a few drops to your evening bath to help you sleep better.Do NOT use this oil to add to any products to be drunk or eaten.I would suggest that unless you are an expert you should carefully read any advice on line or follow an aromatherapist's advice before using an essential oils.

je rêvais sentir la bonne odeur du basilic en utilisant cette huile sur mon diffuseur électrique .. j'ai vite déchanté .. beurk l'odeur est désagréable et ne rappelle en aucun cas la plante aromatique .. je me suis rattrapée ceci dit en achetant une huile à l'orange et cannelle chez un autre fournisseur et ma foi tant mieux ! oui tellement mieux ! ^^
