We all know that the active ingredient in these is the same as that major brand we always hear about on the TV, so we know it works. However, the reason I give this five stars is not only the cost per pill, but also the fact that it comes in a bottle. I have searched every store in my area, and no one, not even the generic Equate brand, sells them in bottles anymore. Really?? Who wants to struggle and strain to try to open a blister pack to get one lousy pill when they're already trying to hold back the torrent of whatever dish they ate last night that just didn't sit well, and any extra strain might breach the dam, creating a cascade of poo and tears. You don't want that. Get this bottle, so you can easily open it up and get that sweet relief you're looking for!

The blister pks are almost impossible to open if you are elderly and probably if you aren't so I try to keep thesebottles in stock - due to medical conditions I use a lot of these.As for the actual drug it works fine and is the same as the more expensive big brand name version.

For chronic sufferers who require this medication daily, the suppliers have dried up to just just a couple who sell it in a bottle instead of the dreaded blister packs.Bottles can still be had in 200 and 96 count packaging, but anyone who has been buying Loperimide for years to control their symptoms, you'll notice that the price has gone from around $8 USD for a bottle of 200 tablets (when purchased in bulk) to the current price of $28 for the same quantity.SDA Labs' tablets seem to be as effective as others I've tried: Berkley Jensen and Kirkland brands, but SDA Labs has for some reason omitted that most basic feature of any oral medication, the coating that makes them easy to swallow and prevents them from dissolving in your mouth. SDA Labs tablets HAVE NO COATING. That is why I rated them at 4 instead of 5 stars.It was reported that due to the abuse of this medication that we would all suffer the blister packaging and smaller packages, and yet, the 200 count bottle of loose pills still exists, but now from fewer suppliers at a much greater cost.I don't know exactly why this has happened but at least this option exists for those who need it and likely have no non-prescription options available. The brand name, Immodium, is priced so high as to be laughable-- except of course when you have no choice. I can only hope some of the other brands will come back and sell in bottles again.I cannot imagine trying to open the blister packs with arthritic hands or other difficulties and it's not easy even for young, healthy people really, and honestly it affords ample opportunity for injuring yourself at times. That's not good.

The stuff works well. However it is nearly twice the price from this seller as it is from other sellers, such as Wellspring and others.

Have been taking this stuff for years because of a compromised digestive system after colon cancer. Take one after every meal - or pay the consequences. All of a sudden it has been difficult to find in bulk form. Come to find out it has become a way to get high. Really? Is that what desperation looks like? I would love to be more sensitive, but the results of the misuse = bubble packaging- adds insult to the process of the minons wreaking havoc to my system.Thanks SDA Labs for making this available in bulk. You are doing it right in spite of the pressure to do otherwise.

I am very thankful for the bottle of that amount I have IBS-D & ICS-D just about every time I eat I have diarrhea so I have to take loperamide just about every day. I can't can't the dicyclomine brand name Bentyl it makes my the taste in my mouth and it's a nasty taste so again thank u very much God bless u and ur company.

I used to get the bottles at Target very cheap.The FDA banned the loose pills 💊 n the bottle. Opiate addicts fond of they take 100-200 pills per day, they could get high. By making it difficult to access the pills, they thought it would decrease use among addicts.All it’s done is make it difficult for people who legitimately need it!
