The dish arrived thoroughly packed in lots of bubble wrap, so arrived in very good condition. What is important, however, is that there was only one dish. I had expected one set of six. I am so happy with the little dish though. It is adorable. Thanks! It is now a treasure, not an oatmeal bowl :)

looks good but will it last?
Over the years we have lost multiple pieces and needed to fill out so we could use for both daily use and family dinners. Looks great but not sure it will hold up as the last ones did, which have lasted 15+ years of daily use.

Churchill's earthenware is beautiful and durable
Blue Willow is a classic pattern. Churchill's Blue Willow is a richer, darker blue than Johnson Brothers. Churchill earthenware is made in England. Where my dinnerware is made is important to me. I was surprise to lean that Wedgewood China now is made in Indonesia! Churchill's earthenware is beautiful and durable. The only set of dishes that I have that does not get chipped when washed in the dishwasher.

I have always enjoyed willow ware as my grandmother had a set of it.I picked up various odd pieces of it over the years. But I finally decidedto get a complete set of my own. The pieces I got from Churchill arelovely. The pattern is crisp and clear - unlike some of the pieces I havegotten elsewhere. It arrived on time and the pieces were not chipped ordamaged in any way. Given the price, an absolutely super and fullysatisfactory purchase.

Good bowls
We use our willow ware every day so bowls are regular casualties. These came badly packaged and the first try included some broken bowls. Replacements arrived quickly and all whole. I might have kept the partial package for a partial refund but that didn't appear possible.

Blue Willow Bowls by Churchill
Bowls matched the balance of the set completely and all were flawless. The bowls made in England are much clearer than the South Ameri9can pieces. It is worth the extra money.
