Very handy for small bits
This is great, because it'll let you chuck tiny bits, smaller than 1/16", for things like drilling pilot holes for #4 and #6 screws. Not all full sized drills will hold a bit smaller than 1/16", and it's a pain to have to get out a dremel, and not everyone has an adjustable chuck for those. I wouldn't fault it for not being all that useful for large bits in impact, because that's a bit of a hack anyway. Get a drill for drilling things, use a driver for driving things. The bits themselves aren't designed for it.

Great adapter for impact drills
This works incredibly well at letting me use regular drill bits with my impact drill. Feels very sturdy, nothing loose when using it. Would highly recommend.

Handy Chuck Adapter with Some Limitations
Handy Chuck Adapter with Some Limitations I picked up this Neiko keyless drill chuck to get more flexibility out of my cordless impact driver, and it does the job reasonably well. It lets me quickly convert the driver into something that can handle regular round-shank drill bits without needing a separate drill. The 1/4" hex shank makes swapping tools simple, and the keyless design means no fumbling with extra parts—just twist, tighten, and you’re set. That said, it’s not perfect. While it holds bits securely for lighter work, I did notice some wobble with larger bits or when pushing through tougher material. It’s definitely not as solid as using a dedicated drill, so I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy-duty applications. For small household projects, quick holes, or when you don’t want to drag out another tool, though, it’s a useful accessory to have on hand. Bottom line: A convenient, budget-friendly way to expand your impact driver’s capabilities, but best reserved for light to medium duty tasks.

Does Exactly the Job I Needed It To Do
I have several "full-size" DeWalt and Ryobi drills that I use in my shop. Here, I needed something to use inside my home on small craft projects. Mostly, I use small, numbered, drill bits so the 1/4" chuck limitation here was not a problem for me. I planned to use this chuck in smaller Ryobi and Black and Decker battery powered drills as torque was also not an issue. These smaller drills do not have chucks but do accept 1/4" hexagon bits like the shaft on this chuck. This chuck, and other 1/4" hexagon bits, have a "locking" feature near the end of the shaft. My Ryobi uses this feature to retain a bit while the Black and Decker uses only a magnet to hold a bit in place. Sometimes, when using the Black and Decker, this chuck will pull out when I'm backing the drill and chuck out of the material. So, I prefer to use the Ryobi. The only other thing to note is that there isn't any easy way to hold the chuck's shaft while you tighten the barrel around a drill bit. One could use a wrench to hold the shaft, but, so far, I have not needed to do this. However, I'm reluctant to tighten the chuck to the point where the drill motor starts turning because you can sometimes damage internal gearing by manually turning the output. I think that's why my other, larger, drills have a "locking" position that is supposed to be used when tightening the chuck.

Inexpensive price = INEXPENSIVE CHUCK
Need to remember with this chuck to not open too much or it falls apart. = 4th photo. There's no flat sides on the shaft of the threaded piece to put a wrench on for maximum tightening, needs vise grips or put it in a vise = hand tightening soon loosens up. It's dumbed down in size - functional design and quality. (made in Taiwan) A wobble can be seen during rotation, and though it's not REAL bad - it doesn't drill completely precise & true. One can't expect to receive quality and precision at this price. This is much smaller than my full size DeWalt chuck, which dose stop when opening / closing tight, without falling apart. I've had it for several years without issue. Of course the DeWalt costs approx twice as much but is worth it.

Not tough enough for this mom
Mine broke into pieces when I tried to remove the drill bit from my first project. It admittedly was a hard job of drilling holes into the bottom of ceramic pots. It worked well until it crumbled.

Small but very useful
Bought this to go on my impact driver for times when I have to switch between drilling and driving screws in, keep having to change from drill bit to driver many hundred times a day was a pain, so this does the trick. It feels solidly made, and has a professional feel to it, it will only take drill bits up to size 8, but that’s all I needed, if you need larger drill bits you will need to find a larger chuck. Haven’t used for long but does the job and feels like it will last a while.

Práctico y de buena calidad
Me permite usar brocas de 5/16", de las que tienen bastago triangular, al límite y con poco agarre, pero eso ya supera su capacidad. El accesorio trabaja muy bien con brocas de 1/16" hasta 1/4"

I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN
This is a nice little chuck. I some times use very small drill bits for some of my projects 2 or 3 mm (1/16 -3/32) my regular chuck wont hold them. Years ago I bought a chuck for a Dremel tool, a replacement chuck and machined a shank to fit it. I actually used to use it in the 1980s with my old 6v battery operated screw driver which didnt have the torq to drive the screws in so every hole had to be predrilled. I used this old chuck for over 30 years and I came to depend on it for more precision work later on, and now use it mostly on my 20v driver and sometimes in a 1/2" drill press. I was making my grandson a display case for his pocket knives and needed to predrill holes for small brass screws, but I lost the Dremel chuck some where, so I ordered this one which is a bit heavier but also grips the bits much better and fits in the driver much better, the old one, with the home made shank, it wouldnt lock into the driver so would some times it would fall out.. You can change bits in seconds when drilling different size holes or replacing broken or dull bits. Now you should remember this is not for real heavy work. I have used it in my small drill press for some precision work. But mostly use it in my driver and like I said, usually only for very small drill bits, in oak up to 1"thick or lite guage metal. It grips the bits much tighter then the dremel chuck. I have used it for 1/8 bits but only cause I was to lazy the grab my drill. Its well worth the small cost.
