Great for splashing!
We bought this to use with our one-year-old. She loved it, as did our three-year-old! I believe there is a weight limit somewhere in the instructions, but our older child really wanted to try it out, so we carefully put him in, and he was floating just fine! He weighs about 35lbs.This product, unlike others I saw (like this one: Intex My Baby Float ) has the mesh between the floats, which allows the child to feel and splash the water. My daughter loved to be able to kick and "swim" on her own, while being perfectly safe. We, of course, were never far from her, but she had freedom of movement, and so did we. She did manage to wiggle enough to get her nose in the water in front of her, which you should keep an eye out for, but my daughter found that even more entertaining than the splashing! The quality of the product is great. It was very easy to blow up and then deflate when done. We have used it in hotel pools and in lakes. After it dried out, I could easily fold it back up to its original size and put it back in the carrying case it came with. Using this, my husband was able to take both kids swimming at the same time without worrying about one being left behind. It's great!

Good enough for me
After reading the reviews, I couldn't possibly understand how a baby would, or could, climb out of this contraption while in the water...but folks, it's TRUE! Mind you, I didn't allow that to happen but if they get enough weight on the front end, it'll hike up the back and they think they are getting out when they are only putting themselves in a bad situation and a face FULL of water. Not good. All things considered though, I do like this float but would recommend it's use with a few suggestions...1. Put baby into seat BEFORE getting into the water and especially if they wear swim shoes as they make it impossible to get the feet in the right holes.2. After you get them in the float and in the water, you'll need to "adjust" the straps that go through and around the legs...I found that if I didn't make sure the straps were riding ON the swim diaper, his legs were exposed to the straps being tight on his skin.3. Blow this sucker up as much as possible...do NOT under inflate or it will put a lot of water where it's not wanted.

Awesome for a baby!
Okay, this pool float is AWESOME. I bought it for our 16-month-old son (roughly 28 pounds), who was getting too wiggly for us to hold him in the pool for very long. And he's still too young for water wings and I didn't want a giant float that would be a pain to carry down to the neighborhood pool. This float is absolutely perfect. It's lightweight, SUPER easy to blow up, easy to put the child in, and he LOVES it. He's free to splash around and kick on his own terms...and I'm free to float along with it, without worrying about his safety. I can even see putting some pool toys in the little moats so that he can play with those as well, although I haven't tried that yet.I actually wish we'd bought this for him sooner, since he'll be too old/big for it next summer. For now, though, we're using it every other day or so. Great product, SwimWays!

started at 8 months
We took this on an overseas trip to use in a hotel pool. It folds up flat into a traveling bag so that it doesn't take much space in the luggage. We eased our baby into this float by letting her touch the rim, and placing floating toys in the mesh area. As she got more comfortable we placed her in the seating area.We weren't surprised that she only wanted to be in there a short time...she much preferred being in one of our arms! But, I plan to reintroduce it to her once the weather gets warm enough to get back in the pool for summer. By then she should be about one year, and hopefully more excited to play in the float!

Super fun float for my toddler
My son who is going to be 2 soon simple loves this float. He hates getting into our bath tub and used to cry a lot. So when i came across this float on Amazon i wondered if it will ever be used, but just gave it a shot and Lo and Behold...... it was magic!!!! my son sits in it in the pool and keeps singing to himself. This float is pretty sturdy and doesnt topple. And the netted area between the 2 concentric tubes makes it all the more fun as the water becomes reachable for the kid to play and splash but at the same time keeping him safe :) He is hyper active when inside the pool, jumping crazy and stuff but still the float stands sturdy!!! The air seems to go out if not used for 2-3 days, donno if its common or not, but i have a balloon pump that comes in handy. i recommend to parents who want their kids to like water :)

Love our Baby Spring Float
We have used our Baby Sprint Float many, many times. It has been a wonderful took for getting our little one familiar and comfortable with water. Our best success has been at our public swimming pool. Our lake experiences were either too choppy for safely floating or too cold for our son. Our most recent experience with it, my son leaned forward and blew bubbles. You see if he leans back, he can just lounge. If he leans forward, he can be active, moving his feet, his hands and blowing bubbles in the water. Now, my son is a big boy. Very solid, strong and thick. He fits in this swim aid no problem. Even now, at 16 months, he is still comfortable and it keeps him well above the water with no worries. This is a great tool for teaching your child about water and swimming.

Simple & Safe
So easy to use- I purchased this one as a gift. Last year we purchased this same item for ourselves but with the sunblock canopy for when the baby was just a couple of months old. At 14 months she doesn't need the canopy sowe just do not attach it. She loves it. It is very sturdy and comfortable. She is not a fan of the big bulky swimmies as of yet- so this fits the bill perfectly. Extremely light weight an durable

Comfortable leg holes for big babies, needs supervision
Bought this for our trip to the Caribbean, our local pool has the same ones in the kiddie pool. I couldn't find any other floaties that had the same mesh material for the legs, which is great because it will never scratch the babies skin. It's probably good from 5 months to a year, or maybe longer (my son is 6 months old now and very big for his age). He sits low in the water so he'll never flip it, but it probably would be too big for small babies. When he was younger (4 months or so), I would place him on this with his legs out of the water (so his bum was in the whole) and that worked well for the pool. Now I sometimes I need to half-hold his back & head up if he's getting tired and starts to flop backwards in the water, so it's still not 100% independent at this age, but it's way easier than using nothing, and I wouldn't leave him alone in a pool anyways without constant supervision so it's all good! He seems really happy to float in this. Oh, and it doesn't come with a hand pump but it's quick to inflate by mouth.

Great floater for babies
Great floater for babies. It is recommended to use it after 9 months, but my son with 8 months fits in it perfectly and he had the best time ever.

Works great. We got it for my son for his birthday and have used it a few times this summer. It fits him perfectly, he is one and on the tall and skinny side. Folding it up is a challenge at first but once you've figured it out the first time it gets easier.
