Bakerpan Silicone Straw Cup for Toddlers and Kids, 12 Ounce Silicone Cups with Straw (Blue)

My 2 year old son had speech delays, and his speech teacher recommended that we get a cup with a straw in order to increase the use of the muscles in his mouth. The catch was that the cup should not have any "valve" type lid or straw.After lots of searching, I happened upon this one. I expected there to be lots of spills/leaks given that it didn't have a valve, but this has worked extremely well. While it's not "leak proof", it has performed about as well as the other "leak proof" cups, many of which were far more expensive (think baby, thermos foogo, yeti jr, and pura kiki, to main just a few). I should note here that my son does actively try to leak the bottle and play with the mess, so it's particularly difficult to get something that prevents him from doing that.His speech has improved dramatically over the past few months (mostly due to other factors - his speech teacher, and readiness to talk - but I believe the cup might have helped a bit too). The straw also makes it easy to sip his drinks, and it's a breeze to clean because it is dishwasher safe. I also really like that it's made of silicone, which is known for being extremely safe (relative to other materials, like plastic).While this is somewhat flexible, it's thick enough to be rigid. He can't really bend it much.

I like how it was rubbery, thought it would be perfect for my daughter. Since she drops her cups sometimes, it won’t break, it does leak a little when dropped. But it’s not near as much as her other cups. However, I’m daughter doesn’t really seem to care too much for it just yet.

I love the texture, color and the fact that there's no hard parts for our grandchildren to get hurt on.It's a bit heavier than I thought it would be. If only this cup was completely spillproof.

I got this for a toddler grandchild that likes to take my straw drinking cup and run off with it. This is soft and the straw is soft too. So far, so good!

Had this cup for a while now and it’s holding up well. It doesn’t leak, it’s easy to clean and durable. My 5 year old daughter uses it and she loves it

I want to keep it, hope that doesn't turn out to be a bad decision. It smells so strongly of something like incense that it gave me a headache just to have it in my bedroom. I like the quality. I think its unreasonable of one reviewer for them to turn it completely upside down and leave it that way and then complain it leaks. Geez, of course its going to leak. Who drinks from a cup standing on their head? It didn't leak on a minor tilt over, like when you knock it over. That is a reasonable expectation and it passes.I am soaking it in vinegar and we'll see if that works to get the horrid smell out

Bought this for my 93 year old grandmother. It's perfect. Not too heavy and bright colors she can see it at night.

Perfect for my 4 yr old and 2 yr old! They love them!
