There are so many wifi plugs to choose from. I decided to go with these as I already have two of the Meross/Refoss Garage Door openers and they work superb. They are also a great price for a pack of three. I wasn't disappointed, the quality is good and they work perfect. They are simple to setup. I added them to the Meross app. as I already had my garage doors on there. Keeps them all together and saves having so many apps for different devices.I had no issues adding them to the app and setting them up. I have a routine set that turns one of the plugs on and off once a day, 7 days a week. I have been using them for a couple of weeks now with no issues at all.They will soon be deployed to control the Christmas lights come December!

Refoss (aka meross) Apple HomeKit plugs are very easy to set up. Just scan the HomeKit QR code on the side of the device and you’re done. You can name the device and assigned it to a room if you like. They also works with Alexa devices and setup is quite easy for that too. And if you already have the Meross app installed on your phone, these plugs work with that app so no need to download the app (or download the ehomelife app as instructions).The app is very simple to use and the layout is minimalistic.The plug has a button on the top for manual operation and glows green when switched on. When switched on or off you can hear a reassuring quiet click, which I like, but some people may not.The size of the plug is bigger than a regular UK plug but fits in a double socket without blocking access to the socket switch. The plug is square so doesn’t hang down below or protrude above the wall socket like some other makes do. This is ideal if you have your plug sockets mounted at low level or on the skirting boards.Price is about right for this type of product (unlike some other over priced products on the market) and build quality is good.Highly recommend this product and manufacturer.

These are great, what can I say?!I’ve had loads of “smart tech” in the past, Belkin Wemo etc, their (Belkin) sockets keep losing connection. These Refoss sockets have got it nailed - they’re a decent size in the socket, they don’t obscure the switch for the plug in any way, nice easy button on top for manual on/off also. Setup was super easy. I used the Apple HomeKit (for the first time ever!) scanned the barcode, plugged in and 2 mins later it’s setup. Bang on. I’ve also completed the setup using the eHomeLife app instead, very similar story - very easy. I LOVE the fact that this brand is compatible with Alexa etc, and if you’re a SmartThings lover, they work with that app also. Quality kit and great price!

Requires me to reset the WiFi a couple of times a year when some of the plugs stop responding. That doesn’t inspire confidence for when we are away.

Easy to set up, just hold the button for few seconds and add it through HomeKit app on iOS.Works much faster than competing products like eve.

I was impressed by the smart sockets from Meross and now bought these 3 to go with my other 2 plugs and also Meross Garage Opener.All were very easy to install and with the widget are easy to use.Works very well with both Alexa and Google.I am also very impressed by Meross customer services, when called open.So thanks to Amy and Fiona.

We have loads devices, hue bulbs and some existing smart plugs (Kasa / tp-link). But the household is almost universally Apple and the kasa / tp-links were never compatible with Apple Home. So tried some of these, and they have worked well and the responsiveness of the apple home app is excellent.Where I knocked a star off was due to having a 2G/5G shared SSID wifi - we have a fairly advanced home network setup using Unifi kit. Basically, the majority of devices in the house (phones, laptops etc) connect on 5G. Older devices, and these plugs connect on 2G, but the SSID is the same. You cannot set the plugs up when this occurs. The workaround is to go into your router settings and disable 5G temporarily, which forces all devices onto 2G and therefore setup can occur.Apple Home registration is trivial once this is done - scan the QR code label on the device. This was able to be done *without* the refoss / "ehomelife" app (which is a good thing). But we are an Apple / Alexa household. So I then had to download the app to the phone and do registration again to get Alexa to recognise the devices since it won't talk to Apple Home. it was a bit of a faff trying to register on both systems (I think the app wasn't terribly clear, or possibly EBCAK) but once I got the hang of the first one, the others followed quickly.After that, re-enabling 5G on my wifi was done and everything was still communicating properly.I'm going to get some more of these, as it has solved my co-existing apple home / Alexa issue at a sensible price.

Fair price considering they work with apple home kit. Simple set up just scan qr code and follow instructions. Perfect for hard to reach sockets
