bought mine from NYBS-NY seller and the chips are not melted and are perfectly dark colored like they should be, no hint of discoloration/going stale at all.. as for chips, they are bitter as expected of cacoa but, they are actually not as bitter, or rather does not have that nasty lingering bitterness that some brands have when you eat them as is.. have decide i do like these and will probably melt them and add a sweetener to it and use as an icing on keto brownies/etc but, my tastebuds have decided they would prefer dark chocolate chips that are sweetened with a keto friendly alcohol sugar for cookies and for chia seed chocolate pudding sprinkles that i bought these mainly for..

The cacao nibs are discolored like a leopards spots and taste awful! There is a sticker placed on the back with an expiration date of 2025. I think they probably buy expired product and put a new expiration date on it. I have purchased these before from other sellers and the nibs are consistently dark brown and delicious.

I mix them when making chocolate chip cookies or making a protein bar. Those are very healthy and organic .

This is good tasting dark chocolate. I have had better. But I am a alcoholic and have tried hundreds of different brands. This one is definitely acceptable and would be fine in cookies or pastries.

These are definitely 100% cacao, which I like because of the cacao health benefits. I used them to make chocolate covered strawberries and it was the perfect combination because the strawberries were sweet and the chocolate was not, so the flavor was even. Not too sweet and not too chocolatey. I call that a win-win for a healthy snack.

This item arrived as a solid block of chocolate. The chips had melted and hardened again. I was sorely disappointed and had the grind up the chocolate into smaller pieces to measure out and use for a recipe. It tasted ok but now I question the quality and age of the product. Storage of this item should be temp controlled. I doubt it was during shipping because although temps were warm it should have been more melted than hard if that was the issue.
