Good Info but small print
First off, the information this book contains is great. What I didn't like, and why I gave it a 3 star rating, is that you cannot tout the book as Larger Print, as if it was large print, when it is as small, if not smaller, than 99% of the books out there on any subject. I am sure people bought it expecting to easily read it, but even thumbilina would have a hard time not squinting. Fix the print issue and this book becomes 5 stars.

It Works For Me: Splurged With Large Print 2021 Edition
I first bought this book in 2005 (again in 2011 and 2017) as every so often I feel inspired to actively try and eat healthier and lose some weight. The past year-plus of Covid-19 has shuttered the Southwest Community Center, and enduring various stages of lockup, I've put "some weight on" and know that with a food scale and the book I can figure out how many calories a day is my limit and keep a journal of my eating; I also check my carbs, not to exceed 75 grams every 2 hours, and subtract whatever exercise I force myself to participate. I KNOW I will lose the weight as well as feel better.Simple food journal:in a spiral notebook (computer is ok, but just having a piece of paper to write on saves time. Yes I know I can play with the data, make charts and graphs, but I just want to lose the weight) each page is a day.Columns: TIME, FOOD/ QUANTITY, CARBS, FAT, PROTIEN, CALLORIESI subtotal multiple entries for large meals and grand total the day.

A useful guide that we've used for years. Just got this latest update
My wife is a type one diabetic. We use this book (and the iPhone app from the same company) several times a day. It is literally a "life saver." Very complete and useful.

This book sucks, it dont list any sodium or sugar content at all,

Not in LARGE Print!
This book is a decent reference for carb counting, however, it is NOT large print as advertised. Disappointing.

I Use This Book Everyday
I purchased the 2020 edition which was smaller in page size and font size. It was difficult to read, but I promised myself that if I continued to use it until the 2021 larger edition with the use of larger fonts came out, I could buy the new edition. I love it!

Not large print
I bought this book for a health class on the recommendations of the instructor. Maybe I should have seen what else was out there first. The only thing I have to compare it to is my old Calorie, Carb, and Cholesterol Directory by Martha Schueneman, which hasn't been updated since 2004.Yes, the Calorie King book has tons more information, but this copy is advertised as large print. If this is large print, I don't want to try to read the regular print version. This one is already giving me a headache.One more observation. No diversity in the cute little cartoon characters. Perhaps when the book was first published in 1989 it was okay to only depict White people. But in 2021 the King could have spent a little more money to draw some new, more diverse characters.

Don't waste your money if you live in the UK.
Over one hundred pages refer to fast food outlets in the USA, the rest contains a multitude of foods and brands we never see in the UK. A complete waste of money for anyone living in GB.

Calorie counter
Whilst I think this book is well structured in the way it is set out and is easy to navigate, it is American with American measures and American food.For example something as basic as Heinz salad cream wasn't in it.Overall I think it is a very good tool for American readers, it doesn't have enough English foods to be of use for English readers.

I received the book very quickly which was great but I didn't realise that it was American so it has lots of things in it that don't apply in the UK. (Restaurants etc). A big help but I will get a UK one as I think it would help me more.
