Fixings rusty in 2 days!! I knew they were cheap and did not expect much but I expected better than this! Pity really as the bolt itself is pretty decent, its very light and would bend easily but as far as gate bolts go it's been well made. Smooth action and a good fit into the keeper. Wont matter to most but it has 6 fixing points, I specifically bought this one as the photo showed 4 fixings, I didn't want the middle 2 floating as they are now (okay so its a minor detail) I'll probably try to find new fixings for it as the bolt itself has not rusted yet (I suspect it wont if it's not scratched) I could put good stainless screws in it but that would defeat the purpose of buying black and not galvanised in the first place!

Only gave it 4stars screws for the bolts far to small for six inch bolts

Not heavy duty. The travel-length of the sliding bolt is extremely short. The barrel-ring that the slide-pin fits into is not heavy duty at all.
