I have been reluctant to try false eyelashes, but have never been able to tolerate mascara. Now, with gray hair and thinning lashes, I decided to plunge in and I purchased a set at the drug store. As I had feared, I looked like Lucille Ball - the eyelashes screamed "fake." The reason for me is the unnatural length of the eyelashes.When I saw these, two things struck me: one - they offered brown, which would be more natural for me. Two, they are not unnaturally long. I did trim a little off the end of each one (the width was a little too wide) and when they are applied they look so perfect. Definitely not a dead giveaway. Since I have always worn eye makeup this just appears to be a "mascara fix". I am very happy. I have ordered more of them, and just ordered the #232 to see what they are like. For me, less is definitely more. I am so glad I found these on Amazon.

The whole idea of faux lashes in my opinion is to make your own look volumous but still natural looking. These absolutely do.

I prefer short lashes for everyday wear along with the lashes being sparse. These are short but thicker than what the picture shows.

I simply love these brown lashes! Any kind of black eye makeup is too harsh for me, so these lashes are perfect; they look so natural.

These lashes are nice and light, making them perfect for daily wear. They're not too long or thick to be overly noticeable but instead fill in natural lashes for a more intense look. The color is a subtle brown, very natural looking. They do require adhesive and are reusable. They're length can be trimmed to fit most any eyes.
