Velleman CC089 USB B Female Single Connector, 1 Grade to 12 Grade, 90 Degree, PCB Mounting

I really like this connector; it seemed a little expensive at first but it's worth every penny! I easily replaced the defective one ( which was very cheap and fell apart) with this one and I haven't seen any problems since.It comes with a desoldering wick for removing the old component, but it was terrible! I almost burnt my self trying to use it.. so don't use it; I would use a desoldering pump or get a decent wick from an electronics store like Radioshack.Once I got the defective component out, this component was very easy to install even with my cheap soldering iron. So overall I'm very happy with the component itself, even though I don't like the complementary wick.

Exactly what I needed to fix my old printer. The kids forced the cable into the back of the printer too hard and broke the usb connector off the board. HP printers are designed to be disposable so it was near impossible to disassemble the printer to get the board out so you'll need so technical skills and a lot of patience. Once I got to the board the new usb connector was an exact match to the original and fit perfectly.. You will need soldering skills to install this part. Pinter works like new now.

My daughter dropped her usb harddrive and damaged the power board. I went to simply replace the board but found it could not be had, and also found the simple usb converter cable wouldn't work. After inspecting the board closer I figured why could I not just replace the cable connector. 5 stars for the connector and I got it by Ziotek. Worked well although I did have to unsolder the damaged connector and then solder this one in place. Saved the $200 drive, and all she had stored on it.

After purchasing a used master key 49 midi keyboard from savers for $12.00 I was exited to get it home only to find out the USB port was interniting (loose). I Called around to repair shops that quoted me a price of $75. Proudly stating,"the part only costs five bucks the other $70 is for the labor." I was crushed the master key 49 costs $70 new wtf! I sat on it for a few months. I then looked on Amazon read reviews and found what I was looking for. I spoke to a tv repair man that I have known for years and he made the repair for affordable price. .Update 2/22/2020This replacement part did not last long.I eventually threw the Master 49 in the trash along with the part

This worked like a charm. I broke the one on my printer and needed to replace it. Sometimes I catch my old lady reading my emails over my shoulder. I figured what better to buy than something that says single female right in the heading? I only wish it would have come up that way on my credit card statement. I'd buy them several times a day.

My wife has an external hard drive that stopped working after she dropped it. Upon inspection, we found that the connector inside broke from the solder. In order to try to salvage the information on the drive, I decided to order the part. Got it and put it in and now the drive works great.

the back prongs were too short to fix something I needed to solder. Other then that the product is fine
