A Decent Starter Skate
To begin with these skates are best if bought for $50 or under. Currently I have seen the prices for the black and green ones without light-up wheels (black and clear wheels) priced at about $47 and some change. Here are the issues/bad things regarding the skates:1. The first thing that is going to need to be done is replacing the nuts on the axles with new ones. The ones it comes with are either very cheap nyloc nuts or they used a little thread locker. Regardless, the ones I had on mine would not tighten up without pinching the bearings (which is not what you want, you want the wheel to smoothly spin and slowly come to a stop). The factory nuts could be spun with my fingers unless they were far too tight. Go to any home supply store like Home Depot, Lowes, etc and get 8 M8-1.25mm nyloc nuts to use as replacements for safety sake, they cost me around $5 dollars total for all 8. The last thing you want is a wheel to pop off and to dig the axle into the ground and throw you down.2. Larger wheels will not fit or be dangerous to use as the studs that mount the skate plate to the boot are very long and can get close to the wheels and may interfere when turning. Smaller wheels will be better to use, unless you have a way to safely take some of the length off of the studs via cutting or grinding to shorten them.*3. If you weigh over 170 pounds (I weigh around that amount myself so I speak from experience) the skate plates will feel like they are flexing under your feet, or at least I felt an abnormal sensation coming from the plate while testing them. Whatever the exact case may be it is not exactly comforting, but the plates did not break. Take it with a grain of salt, but if you weigh under 170 pound I imagine you should be fine, or if you have a smaller shoe size (I ordered 44/ men's size 9) the length of the plate will be shorter and that may also help prevent them from flexing and potentially can hold more weight. So larger feet and being over 170 may have a similar experience, but smaller feet and being around 170 (or less) or possibly a bit more you may be ok. *This is my personal observation and not a hard fact.*4. The boot is rather thin and won't give much ankle support; if you have weak ankles just be cautious.Onto the good (in my opinion).1. They are a good starter skate. Don't expect to do elaborate jam skating or dance skating with them as I am unsure how the boot/nylon plate would take that strain (plus the toe stop hangs a bit low). However, they are great for relaxed skating forward or backward and a little dance or so here and there. To learn to skate you can't go wrong if you buy these for under $50 with smaller wheels and change out the axle nuts.2. They feel like nothing on your feet. Compared to other skates I have used, these feel like I have nothing on my feet. For me this is nice because it helps reduce fatigue that can be caused by the heavier weight a cast aluminum plate has compared to the nylon plate these use.3. These are also a good "Trunk Skate": an expensive skate that can be kept in the trunk of your vehicle to be used at moments notice and won't be missed if someone were to steal them. They also come with a carrying bag which makes keeping them in the trunk easier as well.Overall: While they have their issues (such as needing to replace axle nuts and the studs mounting the boot to the plate prohibiting certain wheels) I can recommend them as a good beginner skate for anyone who wants to try and isn't wanting to spend a ton of cash on skates. I also recommend them as a decent skate for anyone wanting to just keep a pair in their car for spontaneous skating, but doesn't want to keep a pair of $100-$300+ dollar skates in their car 24/7. With some small modifications as well they can be better/safer too and give you a better experience.

Intriguing
Decent, make sure to scruff the wheels a bit on rough concrete before use so you have more traction. That is my opinion and it made it easier to learn.

Solid Starter Skates for Price
The media could not be loaded. Ill, say - these skates have done the job. I wanted to pick up rollerskating for a while and bought these about 3 months ago. From there, my progress has definitely increased and you can do tricks in these, such as the grapevine, snakewalk, backward skate, dribble, etc. They will do the job for beginner skates - but eventually, you will want an upgrade as these don't last.Cons:1. They do not provide enough support.2. Run big, SIZE DOWN! I bought a size 8 (my shoe size), and I probably could have gone with a 7.3. Quality of the actual boot is pretty bad. When tightening the laces, the white circles pull off. Picture included. With all that said - I skate on these everyday. They are solid starter skates and if you're sticking to just street skating/rolling around. If you want to do anything complex, just spend a little more on some moxi beach bunnies or sure-grip skates. They will last you longer in the end!

Super happy with these skates, comfortable and stylish. Good for indoor and outdoor skating!
Really comfortable skates! I was a bit nervous but I’m very happy with my purchase. I recommend tying them very tight and I personally have had no issues other than the laces are starting to rip. I’m looking to buy new ones to replace them. Great for indoor and outdoor skating but I recommend buying a pair of secondary wheels for outdoor skating. I bought a size 8 and they fit perfectly! I love the style and the fit, I would recommend these to anyone looking for comfortable skates. In the pictures above I have already worn them outside so my wheels are a bit dirty and torn but like I said I recommend a secondary pair of wheels if you plan on doing both. Comfortable with thick or thin socks.

Comfortable
I got this skate for my 12 year old son. He has wide feet. He could get his feet in this skate easily. Other high grade skates have very sturdy, stiff material to support the ankle. He can't fit his wide feet in those. We didn't mind sacrificing the ankle support for this softer material. He is just using it to learn to skate right around the house. No tricks or fancy stuff. This skate was perfect for him.

The truck plate is plastic!
Nice for a beginner. What I do not like is that the plate that is screwed to the skate is plastic! That is the reason why I do not buy anything with color plate. Disappointed. Wheels ok. Make sure to bolt everything for whom ever is using this skate. Hope it last. I have to re-read the materials of this skate. I use to skate as a teenager and know about skates. So secure the wheels and make sure the toe stop is tight for secure stopping. What I do like is the body and comfort of the boot. The boot is not tall so if you wish a higher boot this is a shorter boot. Good laces. I am not going to return them however the price should be lowered! Get a better skate if you plan to do tricks or ramp skating.
