We removed the padding from the felt pouches, and stuck the empty pouches back in so the velcro wouldn't stick to his hair. He's a big dude with a lot of hair and large skull. He can still get this to fit, so it will fit a large man skull. Smaller heads will want the padding intact. Probably will not fit a child. Sturdy but still not too heavy, super fun to wear. Review: Great piece of gear - I ordered this helmet to use for airsoft. When it arrived I was shocked at how light-weight it was. At first I was concered if it would hold up during repeated abuse, but so far this helmet has lived up to expectations. It is made from a light, but durable ABS plastic with seven foam pad inserts and a neck pad for great comfort. At first it fit a little snug, but with some adjustments of the chinstrap, and the removal of the top pad insert, it fit comortably. I decided to paint the helmet tan, to match my desert camo uniform, and to also cool my head down during use in the hot summer sun. Overall, this is an outstanding product. It is light-weight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time, yet still durable enough to stand up to some pretty harsh treatment. I would also like to mention the wonderful customer service that was provided along with this product. I will deffinately buy from this company again in the future. ## Features - ABS - Imported - Lightweight And Durable Design: Crafted With ABS Plastic For A Lightweight Design To Enhance Comfort And Function. - Comfortable Cushion Pads: Features 7 Removable Cushion Pads For Maximum Comfort And Customization To Fit Your Needs. - Secure Fit: Adjustable Nylon Chin Strap Provides A Secure Fit, Preventing The Helmet From Slipping During Movement. - Versatile Usage: Ideal For Outdoor Activities, Costumes, Reenactments, And Other Recreational Activities. - Adult-Sized Helmet: Accommodates Head Sizes From 6 ¾ Inches To 7 ¾ Inches, Suitable For Most Adults. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004Q11M3S | | Best Sellers Rank | #70,642 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #243 in Protective Body Equipment | | Brand | Rothco | | Brand Name | Rothco | | Closure Type | Chin Strap, Buckle | | Color | Olive Drab | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 367 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00613902199705 | | Included Components | Helmet | | Item Type Name | helmet | | League | Canadian Football League | | League Name | Canadian Football League | | Manufacturer | Rothco | | Manufacturer Part Number | 613902199705 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | ABS Mich-2000 Replica Tactical Helmet | | Model Number | 1997 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Size | Standard | | Style | Retro | | Style Name | Retro | | UPC | 613902199705 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rothco - **Color:** Olive Drab - **League:** Canadian Football League - **Size:** Standard - **Style:** Retro ## Images ![ABS Mich-2000 Replica Tactical Helmet - Lightweight & Durable Headgear for Outdoor Activities, Costumes, and More - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YSFTaNJIL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Hello. When it arrived I was shocked at how light-weight it was. At first I was concered if it would hold up during repeated abuse, but so far this helmet has lived up to expectations. It finally got to me today (November 29th)! When I first saw the package, I was hoping for an awesome airsoft helmet... I got what I was hoping to receive. I open the box and the first thing I noticed was that it came in a plastic cover with lightweight foam padding protecting it from scratches. It came with the instructions on how to return it... but not on how to adjust it. I tried it on and it fit great, looked even better than the images of it I saw! I was adjusting the straps, and the screws holding the straps fell out. I was thinking to myself that I was going to regret buying this. I figured out that the screws takes Phillip head screwdrivers or flat-head. I took some pliers, tightened the nut up to the inside of the helmet, then I took a flat-head and tightened the screws very tight. Other than some loose screws here and there, I had no problem with it at all! It is a very hard, cool, and sturdy ABS Plastic helmet that would be great for Airsoft, Paintball, Bike riding and more! Pros: - Strong ABS Material - Chin strap is adjustable - Patting can be taken off or put back on - Very comfortable for a helmet - Very sharp looking Cons: - Loose screws out of the box - Lack of instructions - Spending alot of time adjusting the helmet itself Overall though, this is a great product by rothco, and I would definitely recommend it!!! ## Frequently Bought Together - Rothco ABS Mich-2000 Replica Tactical Helmet - Military MICH/ACH Multicam Helmet Cover (S/M) - 5ive Star Gear GI Helmet Band --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/2362363-abs-mich-2000-replica-tactical-helmet-lightweight-and-durable-headgear](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/2362363-abs-mich-2000-replica-tactical-helmet-lightweight-and-durable-headgear) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
